Like most people, the first time i was traveling to Belize, I had heard a lot about Ambergris Caye, but nothing really about Caye Caulker.

Ambergris Caye does get most of the attention, and while there are few nice resorts, the prices per night are close to the same price as Cancun or the Cayman Islands.

Caye Caulker does have places that are as cheap as US$20 / night and the most expensive price I have found was around US$125. Prices on Ambergris Caye (San Pedro) start at around US$200 per night..

Flew from Belize City to Caye Caulker on Tropic Air for US$100 round trip (but you can take the Water Taxi for US$17 round trip - they run almost every hour from early morning until sunset)
