We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at newlands, Trevor and Juanita are friendly and relaxed. Trevor is a fantastic cook to boot! We saw everything we set out to do in Belize. To top it all their local knowledge is infinitely valuable in arranging trips and adding that little bit extra to each trip. We also met a number of locals and who are passionate about their country. The local food is excellent and they have a wonderful little wetland behind their property which is ideal for bird watching and sundowners from the pool deck area.

Beware of the mosquitoes etc when watching sunrise or sundowns though. I don't think we would have been able to fit in all of our trips and activities if we stayed at a hotel. If you want to see Belize in its length and breadth from snorkeling trips to manitee's to mayan ruins then stay there. Be prepared for an experience!
