We were there for business and stayed one night, left the next morning. The staff was very nice and service is good. The location is excellent. The common areas of the hotel have an old world feel and a very nice appearance inside and out. The food is pretty good, they make good pancakes for breakfast. We didn't care for... more

While Belize City gives the impression of a very nice African city, this hotel will make you feel like an explorer staying in a nice hotel from earlier days. Everything about the hotel will meet all of the needs of visiting Americans used to the amenities of nice hotels in the US and we highly recommend this location if you... more

We had a good experience with the staff, Kayla in particular. The rooms are OK, not 4 or 5 stars but above anything else in the middle of the town. This is one of the ugliest cities there are. No reason to stay at all. The museum is closed both Saturday and Sunday, and unfortunately that is when we arrived.... more

Our preference was to skip Belize City entirely (per guide book suggestion), though our arrival time via bus from Cancun made it impossible to get out of the city prior to nightfall. We booked with Radisson for its reputation of being both helpful and in a safe part of the city. Safe? I guess so ... we didn't run into... more

We (2 adults, 2 kids ages 10 and 12) stayed at the Radisson Fort George for one night upon arrival in Belize (we were headed out to Guatemala by bus the next morning, thus the short stay). We found it to be a fine place to stay. I'd agree with previous posters that there is little reason to stay in... more

We stayed in the Radisson before and after couple of weeks in the jungle and on Ambergris Caye. It was easily the worst hotel we stayed in as: - we stayed in the Club Tower room both times. On the second time we were on the second floor and the total absence of soundproofing meant that we barely slept due... more

I've been to the Belize City Radisson several times over the last few years for work, most recently just a few days ago. It really is a more-than-adequate hotel. The room was very comfortable, perhaps recently renovated. Everything worked just as it should: the in-room internet, the TV with lots of channels, room service. The staff was very, very helpful... more

I loved my stay at the Radisson Fort George. It was a lovely hotel with great Caribbean charm and ambience. We stayed in one of the tower rooms, and had an incredible view of the bay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the "sleep number" beds were superb. The hotel staff was always helpful and courteous, and made... more

I'm so glad that I stayed at the Radisson Fort George the employees were genuinely kind and helpful. It is located in the heart of the tourist village where you have close access to great local restaurants. Their local cuisine made dining at the hotel a unexpected surprise. The tours were great. We only had time for two, the mayan... more

It is not that it is such a bad place to stay. It is relatively clean and comfortable. It is just that it is a faded upscale three-star hotel at four-star prices. It needs an overhaul - rubber seals coming out of the glass windows and doors, soap holder in the shower installed upside down, varnish on floors gone, frayed... more
