AWESOME! That’s the only word to describe the place. We had search through TripAdvisor and settled on it because of several wonderful reviews. Caves Branch is paradise. We were warmly greeted by the staff and with my new favorite drink – Rum Punch. We had a 3-night all-inclusive package in a Tree House Suite; a must if you go as... more

Where to begin is the question really. The place is awesome, beautiful, and so cool. We were after a unique experience and we got way more than we bargained for. The adventures they can arrange for you are unreal, the guides are more than competent, they are so informed and eager it makes the trips even better...it must be said,... more

We did the 3-night package and stayed in one of their treehouse suites. The room was excellent, and pretty high class considering you're in the jungle. I would recommend spending the extra money for the treehouse. Comfort has extra value after a day in the jungle. Meals are family style, which is great. We met some wonderful people, and the... more

The adventures were great and the guides were fantastic! We weren't prepared for the "summer camp" experience though. We paid a lot of money to stay in a nice unit, but found the front area staff to not be very friendly or accommodating. We really did love meeting new people at dinner and on the excursions, but we felt like... more

My boyfriend and I took a cab to Caves Branch. We attempted to take the bus, but when we got to the bus station, we found out it would be a 2 hour wait for the next bus, and we just wanted to get there by dinner time. We later took the bus back. It's pretty easy actually and not... more

This destination is not for everyone -- and that's just the way we liked it! The daytime adventures were exciting and educational. The staff and guides were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. This is best for those who like to be active (days are spent rafting, caving, hiking, rappelling, etc), like nature (because you'll be sleeping and sometimes showering in it),... more

Caves Branch is a great place if you are looking for somewhere in Belize where you can actually find an all-inclusive option, and the adventures they offer are wonderful. It is not, however, a place to stay if you are backpacking. Everywhere else in Belize you pay about $3-5 US for a large meal - here you pay $17 US,... more

My boyfriend and I spent our first night in Belize at the Caves Branch Lodge. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and gave us each a complimentary drink (rum punch, which we drank plenty of while in Belize). Because it was the slow season, they upgraded us to an absolutely beautiful treehouse suite. We had dinner there that... more

We went from Ian Anderson's Caves Branch to Francis Ford Coppola's Turtle Inn, arguably the "best" property in Belize. Our kids' (11 and 7) reaction to Turtle Inn: "it's nice, but it isn't Caves Branch". That, in my opinion, says it all. The combination of wonderful adventures, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the pleasant company of fellow guests made our... more
