Tom and Marge are great people and gave us lots of personal attention; Marge's cooking is top notch and we were fascinated by their adventure in establishing a business living among the local population. Their lodge is removed from town in an area with jungle growth and lots of birds. There is so much to do in the surrounding area,... more

I would recommend Moon Racer to any age group. We were a group of 4 "seniors", but there was enough of interest, rooms and food appropriate for children as well. Tom and Marge provided us with plenty to do and have a guide who works with them. The hot shower was a bonus at the end of the day. The... more

Having been in Belize for 5 months we thought we had unearthed all the hidden gems that the country had to offer... until we happened across the instantly amiable Tom & Marge. Leaving their homes in the US they have manged to create, with expert craftsmanship, a place that radiates tranquility, beauty and above else, warmth from the hospitality they... more

My husband and I spent a week at Moonracer farm in January of this year. We were looking for a place where we could get out into the jungle, be active, see the sights and where most of what we wanted to do could be arranged for us. We wanted to keep it economical. What we found was this and... more

I stayed at Moonracer Farm with two of my good friends and we were all thrilled by the service we received there. Tom and Marge were so accommodating. Tom took us on a few of the many trails that are in the area which were so beautiful. Marge's cooking was phenomenal, some of the best I had in Belize. It... more

It is an amazing place in an amazing country. We were, I believe, the first couple to stay in the cabins. No screens in the bathrooms, no hammocks hung yet, smell of fresh cut hardwood still in the air. The cabins are roomy and the bathrooms great. The surrounding area is breathtaking. It was amazing that we were the Gallaghers... more

By far the best accommodations, food and service. Belize is a wonderful and diverse place to visit. But if you are on a budget and still want access to all of the activities and intrigue of some of the larger resorts, then this is the place for you. Swimming next to a large waterfall is only 20 minutes away. Caving... more

Tom and Marge instantly became old friends! I enjoyed a full week with them, soaking up the surroundings, each day a trip - exploring caves with guides (arranged by Marge & Tom), to Hopkins (beach), and to Caracol (Mayan ruins). Other than the beach, it was a week of amazing firsts for me, and the discussions around the breakfast and... more

My 13-year old daughter and I stayed at Moonracer Farm for 3 nights. First, the hospitality is amazing. Sitting down for excellent dinners with Tom and Marge was like sitting down with old friends. A breakfast tray with coffee, juice, and warm scones appeared at our cabin as soon as they saw us stirring in the morning, and this was... more

I visited Moonracer for three nights as part of a two week trip around Belize and Tom and Marge are the most hospitable hosts I have had the pleasure of staying with in any country. They take a genuine interest in you and your activities and the conversations over meal times were fantastic as well as amusing! I can honestly... more
