My family of 4 stayed a week at Crystal Paradise in March 2008. The kids are 9 and 12. It was great - we loved the grounds, there were lots of things to do, the family was great (Jerone was especially helpful). The rooms were clean (we did have a little tree frog that lived in the shower but he... more

This place could be described as heaven in more ways than one. The location is stunning, the accommodation is authentic and homely, the food was marvellous and the people were so warm and welcoming we didnt want to leave! They took care of everything for us, from airport transfers to our trips making sure we were ok and always had... more

We are a family with two teenage daughters. We did the Jungle and Sea package, and had a blast. The Tut family and the guides they employ were incredible. We learned so much about Mayan culture, the rainforests, and the country of Belize. We also had a ton of fun! Horseback riding, caving, canoeing, hiking, and splashing in the local... more

We just returned from a week at Crystal Paradise and are already planning to return as soon as possible. We have travelled to Belize twice before and Crystal Paradise is our favorite spot. The Tut family is so gracious and welcoming, you feel relaxed and part of the family from the first minute you meet them at the airport. The... more

My husband and I just completed a 9-day stay at the Crystal Paradise Resort, and we would strongly recommend this jungle lodge to anyone interested in a truly authentic experience! From the very beginning, we were very impressed with the beautifully maintained grounds and the laid back atmosphere at this family-run resort. The self-service bar and family-style meals added to... more

We were a party of 8, not all into physical challenges, and traveling to Belize for the first time. We wanted a base to travel to the Mayan ruins in Belize for the first part of our vacation followed by time at the seashore for the second. Our travel agent selected Crystal Paradise resort. It was the perfect place for... more

Lifetime memories. Awesome hosts. Idyllic setting. Spectacularly accommodating. Our holiday at Crystal Paradise gave us significantly more than we expected. This is a family owned and run hospitality center, run by one of the kindest, most nurturing and honestly caring families you will ever encounter. Our airport pick up was flawless and the journey to the resort included a lunch... more

There is only one way to stay in Belize-with the Tut family! And not just stay but have them plan a trip for you. This is the perfect full service lodge for ecotourism. I have traveled with them 3 times and enjoyed it all. Jeronine is an excellent naturalist and will help you see and identify many species of birds... more

From my email exchanges with our hosts prior to our trip, to personal care extended by each member of the family, the Crystal Paradise Resort provided an excellent vacation adventure. One aspect that surprised and pleased me were the interesting young travelers we met while excitedly discovering rare birds, sharing tasty family style meals, getting first hand reports of each... more

We just returned from spending Christmas in Belize. We spent 5 nights at Crystal Paradise and 6 nights in Placencia. We had such an amazing time while at Crystal Paradise. Eric picked us up from Belize City and drove us to Crystal Paradise. We stayed in a non-thatched bungalow. It had a large shower and two double beds. It's not... more
