My stay at MET was one of the best vacations I've ever experienced. From the moment the owner met me at the airport, I felt right at home and so very welcome. Loved this place. Great trailrides, we rode down to a river and waterfall one day. The resort setup lunch for us when we arrived and then went for a swim. Butterfly farm is very close by as well as underground caves with artifacts and human remains! Very nice cabanas and the owners are fantastic. more

A friend of mine and I stayed at Mountain Equestrian Trails (MET) resort in March 2008 for one week. The owners and all of the employees were amazing. The jungle resort has everything one could ask for (except electricity in the cabanas). But the lack of electricity wasn't an issue, they provide kerosene lanterns and the main cantina where food... more

An eco-friendly resort run by an adoreable couple. Cabanas w/ a bathroom are nestled in the valley of the Cayo mountains & rainforest. Can't wait to go back. more
