The family and small staff at Smuggler's Den did such a great job I didn't want to leave. Rosa's cooking is just what people say it is. "The best in Belize as far as I'm concerned." We found this place by accident at the end of our travels in Belize. We wished we had found it sooner. Ray & Rosa have a nice spot overlooking Chetumal Bay. My husband and I actually got married at this site and the owners treated us with first class service. The beach is beautiful during the day, but at night it is simply spectacular, it was not lit from overhead but by lawn lights which made it even more romantic. Smuggler's Den is a true gem...a secluded, beautiful beach on the Bay of Corozal.
