Unlike many airport hotels in Guatemala City, Casa Santorini is not just an economical place to flop and wait for an early morning flight. Rather it is a very pleasant experience in visiting Guatemala City. They have single rooms with or without private bathroom, ditto on double rooms as well as a nice dormitory. Rooms are small, but well furnished with good beds, cable TV in Spanish, English, German, French and Korean, and are pico bello clean, as are the bathrooms all of which come equipped with a nice hot shower.There is no street noise and surprisingly no airport noise. The hotel has its own café/bar and restaurant with a better wine list than most of the best restaurants in Guatemala. Food is simple, like churrasco, cooked by grandma and is both good and very inexpensive. Breakfast is free and filling. The coffee is terrific..
