I normally stay at the Westin Camino Real when I am in Guatemala. So that I could remain for more time at the same cost I chose to stay at the Stofella which was suggested by friend. If your on a budget or would like to stretch your stay this is a fine hotel. From this hotel you can perform... more

I stayed at Hotel Stofella for two nights on a business trip to Guatemala City. It is one of the more affordable hotels in Zone 10 and has a very friendly staff, clean but small rooms and free breakfast in the morning. Couldn't ask for a more hassle-free business accommodation. more

This place is like an upscale-type best western in the states. It has a doorman, to give you an idea. The room was nice and very clean, the staff helpful and it was close to the airport, which is just what we needed. Overall, a great spot. more

I stayed here while in town on business. The people who work there are very nice, the hotel's charming, and I don't really have a poor thing to say about it. It's not the fanciest in the zona viva by any means, but it's also not the most expensive. You'll have a decent stay if you come here, just don't... more

This hotel is well-situated and the price -- $60 a night -- is cheap for this area. However, the WiFi does not extend beyond the reception area, which means you have to haul your Mac down to the lobby every time you want to connect. In addition, the hotel at first stuck me in an interior room off an old... more

The hotel was well located and otherwise very basic. I would have no complaints other than I was located in one of the rooms BEHIND the reception area! My room number was 104. Do not accept this room! It was like being in an echo chamber. You heard all the music on the street...and guests returning after 2 am chatting... more

Stayed there only for one night - had an early flight to Flores the next morning. Everything was just perfect starting from the check in moment. Rooms are huge and quite spacious with large, nice bathroom. The breakfast was wonderfull, so was the staff. Nearby there is a really nice restaurant (don't remember the name). When you walk outside the... more

I'm back again - and the room this time just as nice as the first time. The staff are all very helpful and responsive. The comment from another traveller about the front desk staff may be accurate from their experience - but let's face it - doesn't every have an off day? All over the hotel is VERY clean, the... more

I stayed one night at the Hotel Sofella as part of a group tour while in Guatemala. While the room was comfortable, there was no heat and there was an unusual cold wave blowing across Central America. I was able to run the hair dryer for an hour and get the sleeping room warmed up. There was an elevator but... more
