Although I only stayed here one night it was delightful. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The food was very good and the ambiance calming. This was our second port of call in Guatemala and it was absolutely delightful. The pool was excellent and very welcome after a sightseeing trip. The Head waiter arranged for us to hire a private boat for a trip around the lake which was great as we got to stop off away from the majority of the tourists. more

The hotel has small below average rooms with very small entrance doors, but the location and views make up for this. It sits on the banks of the lake. The food was the best we had in Guatemala. Such a little gem of a hotel; right on the lake. We had a view of the lake and volcano from our room. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and we had a balcony that looked onto the pool.
