The hotel is located just a few yards from the zocalo, right across the street from the Marina Copan luxury hotel. What is most striking in this hotel is the fact that once you get past the lobby, all you see is vegetation! It's like being in the jungle...The vegetation is so dense you can barely see the doors to the rooms. These are rather small and plain and don't have a/c but are equiped with a ceiling fan as well as a TV, with American channels. The bathrooms are equally plain but there is plenty of hot water and good water presssure. The hotel is very quiet as the rooms are all towards the back. There are a few table and chairs set outdoors so you can spend sometime outside, rather than being cooped up in the little rooms. Free coffee is served in the hotel lobby.
