We have just returned from a stay at Palma Real. We decided on this hotel, as it was close to the Bay Islands and we thought the beach would be nice. The hotel was a big disappointment. When we got to our room, the AC was not working, and neither was the TV. When i plugged in my blow dryer... more

We stayed in the bunglaows that are individually owned. The hotel managers use this fact to excuse them from all responsibility at the bungalows. Our home was filled with roaches, even in the sheets!! and when we finally killed them all, we had over 14 lieing all over. They moved us to another bungalow, but we had to look at... more

This may be kinda long but I wanted to cover everything: Okay I've read some pretty bad reviews but really what do you expect from a country that is just developing their tourism?? I would definetly agree it's not a 4 star, but it is for sure a 3 star. Room: I stayed at the Caribe side of the resort... more

We have travelled with Conquest Vacations on numerous trips over the past several years and always choose only your 4 or 5 Star resorts. We have come to rely on the reputation of Conquest, due to the superior service we have received from their agents and these resorts they offer. Consequently the vacation in Le Ceiba, Honduras at the 4... more

The people in La Ceiba was very friendly and professional, the hotel was about 45 minutesdrive from the airport. The check in services was fast and friendly. I had a beautifully decored room nice and quiet yet safe. The hotel staff was very helpful, and the hotel amenities were very acessible. The meals is what makes this hotel average, and... more

We stayed here for only a few nights but enjoyed the resort very much. The highlight of our visit was a visit to a local children's home a few towns over in Agua Caliente. We were able to do a dancing activity with the children and had a great time playing with them. Speak with Dorothy at the resort to... more

Stayed in the Palma Real from Mar 31 to Apr 6. Positives • Children orphanage on the beach. Casa Cielo Orphanage is operated by Pastor Leonard Jones (AKA Papajones) and his wife. They have 11 amazing children all under 3. To get there, go left on the beach about 10 minutes. They have a sign on the porch. If you... more

We stayed at the Palma March 31 to April 7. You couldn't ask for better weather or better scenary. The moment you step off the plane you are greeted by lush mountains and blue sunny skies. When you get to the resort, it's a bit comical. As you're getting off the bus, the guide says, "Those of you staying in... more

My girlfriend and I booked this vacation 2 weeks prior to departure (March 20-27) based on reviews from other travelers in our age group (40's). This was our first time in Honduras and we were not disappointed. The scenery is breathtaking. We were told, on our way to the hotel, that it would be packed with Hondurans, since it was... more

We went to the Palma Real March 31 to April 7. We are a professional couple in their mid 30s. We have traveled to other resorts in the past staying at 3, 4 and 5 star resorts. We don't want to reiterate all the facts and opinions that have been stated. In all if you are looking for a bit... more
