We were so pleased with the hotel. We were concerned when we saw other reviews after we had already made our reservations, but gave it a try anyway. Thank goodness! The beds were great, rooms a little out dated but decorated nicely. The registration staff were so nice and we had reserved a package and the front desk had our... more

This is an older property that has been updated in the last few years, I would guess. We occupied 3 rooms for 4 days: 104, 106, 107. GOOD: front-desk personnel, breakfast and waitstaff at the Hoyt House (on-site), close enough to downtown but still quiet (except see below), comfortable bed (Room 106). NOT SO GOOD: wireless internet never worked consistently... more

This hotel is quaint on the outside with limited parking. Our room was not desirable at all. The carpet was "stained" and dirty. There was a stain on one of the sheets, the tub had dirty grime on the bottom of it and the room just did not seem too clean. Our room was in the mix of several rooms... more

We are helping our daughter find venues for guests, parties, and spa visits. None of us live in the area, all guests and members of the wedding are from out of town with the groom being an alum of UGA-so the ceremony and reception are being held at the Botanical Garden. 3 days of accomodations, rehearsal dinner, etc all need... more

I stayed at the Foundry Inn last weekend and it was the worse experience of my life. When we got there we were in a rush and needed to take a shower. Suprisingly our water was brown. I contacted the front desk and they told me that it was brown all around the city. That was untrue because I went... more

Recommended by friends we were a bit doubtful to stay in an independant hotel. The staff went overboard to accomodate our needs, the rooms we well appointed, and the beds are fabulous. The unique charm of the property was like a small european village. We had a couples massage in the Spa, we went to a live show in the... more

We found this to be a nice motel, in good shape, clean and with friendly staff. Had no problems other than finding the place since the address is misleading on a map (the address shows up as much further down Dougherty street than it actually is). The turn is actually at the light at the intersection of N. Thomas and... more

I stayed at the Foundry for four nights. The carpet looked as if it had not been cleaned in years. I had to request a new shower curtain twice as the one in the shower had mold on it. The room smelled musty and moldy-more like a cabin at camp than an expensive hotel. The bed was comfortable but it... more

We stayed there one night (Friday) on a business trip. While it looks very nice from the outside we quickly realized that even at $125/nite this was just a small step up from a motel. Bathroom was small and there were stains (dye?) in the tub, Room smelled musty and had we not had to run our A/C I am... more

My husband and I stayed at the Foundry Park Inn this past weekend, while attending a friend's wedding. The beds were fluffy and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The Inn definitely scores points for service. The condition of the rooms was less than desirable, however. The tile and wainscoating in the bathrooms were dirty, and the towels... more
