The house was comfortable and inviting. We received a great rate and the owner, Val, greeted us warmly and showed us to our room. She gave us directions to nearby restaurants and places of interest. Our clean room had a beautiful 4-poster queen bed. The bathroom had a cozy tiled shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water.... more

This inn was immaculate. My husband and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary here. We had our own private room and entrance. There was a little terrace outside where we had dinner. It felt as though we were at a French Chateau. The bed was so comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was spacious enough for both of us to enjoy and... more

I stayed in room 352 (a), one of the whirlpool suites. Exterior paint and maintenance were in pathetic shape. There were several dead cock roaches on the floor. The carpeting was stained and filthy looking. The bathroom floor and sink had hair and dirt all over. When I arrived, there was a garbage can lid in the kitchen sink. The... more

Arrived to find the massage therapist in charge because of the owner's car problems (which is quite understandable ). The bath towels were hung over a metal rack, they were soiled and still wet. Someone had written their name in the dirt encrusting the transom over the bathroom window. Floors were dirty and breakfast was supposed to be eaten in... more

The facilities were quiet, clean, and comfortable, and our hostess was warm and welcoming. Nothing elaborate, but a good night's sleep at a very affordable rate for a multi-night stay with basic ammenities. If you want a sterile hotel with no charm, don't stay here. If you want to relax in a private and comfortable environment with cordial charm, stay... more

We stayed in Room 1, chosen for its convenient access on the first floor. The lighting is so minimal as to make reading in bed impossible. There is no outlet in the bathroom, so a hairdryer must be plugged in at a very small bedside table, and a make-up mirror used to see what you're doing. The window sills were... more

Four of us stayed not in the main property, but in half of the duplex a couple of houses down the street. The owner was nice, but she seemed too busy to be well organized, and we were never sure what was going on with breakfast--once there wasn't anything but dry cereal, despite the owner's reassurances. The house was okay... more

6/13/2008 I stayed at the Queen Anne for two nights and found much of what I'd read in a prior review to be quite accurate. The owner(s) are very nice. I only dealt with Valerie. She was very concerned about my comfort. She brought me a slice of blueberry cobbler the first night, brought a copy of the local paper... more

My mom, my sister and I spent one night at this B&B in Augusta. We were met by one of the owners (they are teachers who live down the street - not in the B&B). She was very nice and concerned that we were comfortable. We were the only guests that evening, so she took us on a tour of... more
