Hotwire actually currently rates this hotel as a 3 star. I travel extensively (every week of the year) for business and generally book all my hotels through Priceline and Hotwire...over the past year. This was by far what I felt to be at the top of the list of ratings that arent even close to what they should be. I... more

I had reserved a room close to Fort Gordon for two persons. I requested a king size standard and at check -in, the front desk clerk said they had no king size rooms available and said she will have to downgrade to a queen size standard for me and my husband. Then to her surprise, there was no queen size... more

staff seem friendly enough, however it's the rooms and other guests that are the problem. Having doors enter to outside turned out to be a problem. People running up and down the corridors, and making lots of noise. However after a call to security it did calm down. That situation just shouldn't have happened though. Rooms are older, and noisy... more

Compared to some of the hotels in Augusta, this one is above average. However usually a '3' rated hotel through Hotwire is much nicer. This is an older hotel - all rooms with outside entrances. The rooms have been upgraded and are nice with good beds however carpeting needs to be replaced. The free breakfast buffett is very good and... more

Hotwire got me this hotel for $75 per night, it was less than the going rate but considering where I've stayed and what I've paid, this seems like a lot. Entrance to the room is from the parking lot and on a typical Georgia day I was surprised to see that the air was not on in my room. The... more

The complimentary breakfast is great! This is an exterior corridor hotel-each room has an exterior door that opens to the parking area or the pool courtyard. Rooms were much smaller than anticipated. Bathrooms are extremely small and dated. No closet-only exposed racks to hang clothes. Single sink vanity-very inconvenient for a family. There was a sign in the bathroom that... more

Got this Holiday Inn on Hotwire for $75 a night while passing through the area on a business trip. As a woman traveling alone I would avoid this hotel. The entrances to the rooms were accessed from the outside down dimly lit corridors that intersected with other corridors and nooks. I was surprised on 2 occasions by other guests appearing... more

My husband and I have visited this location several times. The pool/courtyard area is really nice. The guest rooms appear to have been recently renovated even though it is an older hotel. We have never really had any major problems during our visits to this hotel although the front desk staff could be nicer to guests....... A couple of times... more

I would agree with everything the previous contributor has said. It was a very friendly clean hotel. However we used it as an overnight stop from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta to catch our flight back to Scotland and I would comment that it is on the outskirts of Augusta in a built up area so is not convenient for nightlife... more

We stayed in Augusta for most of one week for a baseball tournament, but only one night at the Holiday Inn. (Because of a rainout, the schedule got pushed back one day and the hotel where we had stayed for 5 days couldn't accomodate us for the final night, so we moved to the Holiday Inn.) The beds were SO-O-O... more
