We had a one night stay and had an excellent time at the Le Meridien in Casablanca. While it is true the decor might be a bit dated, everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was new and it had immaculately clean sheets. The restaurant in the hotel lobby is a hidden gem, order off of the traditional Moroccan menu... more

The room was fine (but the A/C wasn't as good as I would have expected), the location was good, the room was reasonably large and clean, blah, blah, blah. The hotel was like a typical big-name, big-city European or North American chain (e.g. Marriott, Hilton, Mercure, etc.). Functional, pricey, but without local charm. The staff was great to me and my room was immaculate... Maybe not the newest ever but nothing bad to note.... At least the hotel provided some ambiance and moroccan feel... The Sheraton and the Hyatt are basically on same street both a block away in opposite directions.... the Sheraton was more expensive and the hyatt was MUCH more expensive...... more

Stayed at this hotel for one week on a business trip, and couldn't have been more disappointed. I chose this hotel having stayed at the Sheraton on my last trip and being disappointed with it - Le Royal Mansour is supposed to be the nicest hotel in Casablanca. What a mistake. Check-in was easy and efficient and the concierge was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful anf very complete. However the room was in urgent need of renovation. The air conditioning didn't work, so either we covered with the thick comforter and felt very hot or we removed it and felt very cold. The towels needed to be replaced by... more
