The room was fine (but the A/C wasn't as good as I would have expected), the location was good, the room was reasonably large and clean, blah, blah, blah. The hotel was like a typical big-name, big-city European or North American chain (e.g. Marriott, Hilton, Mercure, etc.). Functional, pricey, but without local charm.
