Hotel was located in a iffy part of town. The Hyatt, and the medina were within walking distance. View was of many rooftops of buildings, an area behind a building where there was a lot of junk and off in the distance the King Hussain V mosque. During the day it would be okay to walk but not at night. Fights... more

Hated to even walk on the carpet in the room. The tablecloths in the dining room were not changed after people had spilled food on them. Staff was pleasant, but really thought that they needed to redo this room from top to bottom. Best thing about it, it was close to a Hyatt, which has an ATM and there was... more

After traveling from Chicago nearly 24 hours straight, our tour group was told our rooms weren't ready at 10 a.m. and there were no towels. Rooms were supposed to be air conditioned but they were not; it was just a circulating fan. The bathroom was large and had nice toiletries. The breakfast for tour groups was mediocre at best. I... more

I stayed at the Hotel this August and the double room I booked was the worst place i stayed in Morroco. The carpets were stained the, room smelt bad and the cleaning lady even woke me up to clean the room the day I was leaving at 10am. Furthermore, the receptionists were rude and incompetent. I really can't believe this... more

We were on a privately organised 4* tour. Shabby is the best word to describe this hotel. Our bathroom was attacked by ants. Dinner was in the dining room (note: not restaurant) on 1st floor. Limited selection of food, bulked up with some salads. Room was shabby, with a TV that refused to work. Small double bed, with a mattress... more

For under $80 a night for a single with breakfast, Kenzi Basma is value for money. Its best feature is it central locatiion. The first time I actually got a very small room in a corner, but the second time round the room was large enough. Conversly, the first time the staff were very friendly and on the second visit... more

Kenzi Basma was well located, although at first we thought the neighborhood was a bit seedy (as it turns out, all of Casablanca is seedy...). The rooms in the hotel were a little dated and dumpy, but comfortable and quiet. I would seriously doubt their 4-star rating. For instance, the holder for the shower head fell off the first morning,... more

I really felt like I was in Morocco when I walked into the room decorated in red and gold with billowy drapes and the large padded headboard. The little sitting area had red and gold furniture too. The bathroom was extremely large. We even had a little balcony. The water got hot quickly. The elevator doors are decorated in Islamic... more
