We really didn't like the hotel: employees were not friendly, awful breakfast and the bar at the hotel is very noisy. The location of the hotel is ok but next time we would prefer a hotel inside the Medina as the ville nouvell has not a lot to offer. more

I arrived at Fez at 2 in the morning and had a confirmed booking made on venere.com. When we arrived at the hotel, they did not have our reservation and although I had the confirmation from Venere.com, they did not give me a room, refused to call another hotel, and did nothing to help us. We were left on the... more

My husband and I stayed with our son for three nights at the Hotel Mounia at the beginning of a Family Adventre Company holiday. The room was clean but cramped with three beds. There was air conditioning but it was quite noisy. The reception staff were friendly and there was a good bar although the smoky atmosphere drove us out... more

We stayed here in October 08 and it was Ok but the breakfast was lousy; runny, watery eggs, muddy coffee and cold beghir (pancakes). Yuk, yuk and more u guessed it - YUK!! Staff were good. My jacket however, was taken from my luggage and I didnt notice until we had reached Marrakesh. I called and they said they had... more

We have stayed November 2008 at the Mounia Hotel in Fez for 2 nights. I have read Lonely planet and my favorite site trip advisor and we have decided to book the Al Mounia. We have arrived to The Mounia Hotel with a nice train trip .The trip from Casablanca with train takes about 4 hours and costs 150 dirhams.Trains... more

I am glad that I only spent one night at Hotel Mounia. I travelled with friends to Fez and Mounia receptionists wouldn't let me book a room until I went all the way to the Fez Police Station to register myself because I did not have my passport with me. Quite rude and unfriendly receptionists, and the restaurant and breakfast... more

I stayed last December at the Mounia Hotel in Fez for 3 nights. In Fez there are not so many alternatives of hotels like in Marrakech or Casablanca. So given the supply and the demand, after a research in TA and the web, we decided to book the Mounia. The Mounia Hotel is located in Fez new area , a... more

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is extremely helpful, assisting us with our every need and setting us up with an outstanding guide for the medina. The rooms are very modern and clean, along with an excellent breakfast every morning. It is within walking distance to a number of parks and enjoyable boulevards for cruising about.... more

This modern hotel has lovely spaceous rooms and bathrooms and it serves as a good base from which to explore Fes if you don't wish to be hidden away in the heat and the bustle of the Riads. more

I only stayed at Hotel Mounia for one night, thankfully. The reception was very friendly, and they provided us with an official guide for a tour of Fes almost immediately upon our request. However, upon return to the hotel, we unfortunately decided to eat dinner at their restaurant. We should have taken the hint when we were the only patrons... more
