Located next to the Medina, with spacious patios and great views, this beautiful guesthouse was a pleasure to visit. The food was wonderful and Fatima, the manager, responded to our needs and preferences with a delightful grace. The rooms are stunning and well kept. Next to the guest house, a public square is full of life and all the services... more

The Palais de Fes is an exeptionally beauitiful Hotel and Restaurant in the Medina of Fes! There is plenty of space and you will find time to relax on the patio as well as the turbulent streetlife of the narrow street of the old town, where the hotel is situated. It feels like an oasis in a crazy restless place.... more

What a charming palace, from the Decor that takes you back in time, to the wonderful hospitality lead by Fatima the manager - there is nothing Fatima wont do for you; she is so nice, friendly and hospitable. And the food!!!!! the best tasting food in Fes, very generous, wonderfully presented, smells and tastes delicious. And then there is the... more

This riad is a beautiful oasis. Full of mazelike towers and ornate decoration. This was truly a Moroccan experience. The staff was extremely helpful during our stay and made us feel like we were at home away from home. Fatima was especially hospitable and took the initiative to see that we experienced Fes to the fullest and answered all of... more

I would go out of my way to return to Fes just to spend another day at the Palais, and I would absolutely bring my friends and family. Traveling alone as a female to Fes with little French or Arabic skills, I was a bit nervous about what I would find. The Palais de Fes went beyond my expectations in... more

We travelled to Fes in April 07, couldn't get anywhere to stay and after a few bizarre incidents found ourselves at the Palais. I have to say that, the guide the owner organised for us aside, everything else was first class. The palais was undergoing major renovation at the time we were there, and signs were that it would be... more

The thick walls of this building insulate not only from the heat but also from the commotion outside. Because we were there in March, it was a bit cool; and we needed space heaters in addition to the cashmere blankets provided. The torn-up exterior is not representative of what you will find inside. The rooms are nicely furnished with highly... more

We stayed at the Palais de Fes in March 06 and do not recommend it at all! A claustrophobic room, uncomfortable bed, tiny bathroom that smelt, dead flowers in room on arrival, flight upon flight of narrow stairs and far from being value for money. The food in the restaurant is good (we recmmend the fish tagine) although again alot... more
