We stayed in this riad in December for two nights. It is quite difficult to give a clear review of this riad. Having stayed in quite a few in Morocco over 6 different trips I would qualify this one as average. It is beautifully restored, however our first room (upper room) was very smelly and cold (somehow the heater did... More

The hotel was not complete in many of the rooms ,although all the rooms were decor ed in the finest Moroccan style, the room they gave us was unfinished , no hanging space, but that was repaired after a complaint, no TV in our room and the bathroom had an awful smell, although the Riad was nearly empty at the... 3 friends and I choose to stay at the Palais de Fes Dar Tazi based on the 22 positive reviews we read on Trip Advisor. It was our first trip to Morocco and the Palais in Fez was our first stop. From the moment of our arrival, we were disappointed time and time again – not only with the quality... More

Our stay at the Palais was a mixed, though mostly positive, experience. I would recommend the place as long as you are fully aware of what you're getting into. The manager, Fatima, is indeed a friendly and attentive woman, though some may find her eagerness to help sometimes oversteps the boundaries into a hardcore sales pitch (if you're not firm... More

Located next to the Medina, with spacious patios and great views, this beautiful guesthouse was a pleasure to visit. The food was wonderful and Fatima, the manager, responded to our needs and preferences with a delightful grace. The rooms are stunning and well kept. Next to the guest house, a public square is full of life and all the services... More

The Palais de Fes is an exeptionally beauitiful Hotel and Restaurant in the Medina of Fes! There is plenty of space and you will find time to relax on the patio as well as the turbulent streetlife of the narrow street of the old town, where the hotel is situated. It feels like an oasis in a crazy restless place.... More

What a charming palace, from the Decor that takes you back in time, to the wonderful hospitality lead by Fatima the manager - there is nothing Fatima wont do for you; she is so nice, friendly and hospitable. And the food!!!!! the best tasting food in Fes, very generous, wonderfully presented, smells and tastes delicious. And then there is the... More

This riad is a beautiful oasis. Full of mazelike towers and ornate decoration. This was truly a Moroccan experience. The staff was extremely helpful during our stay and made us feel like we were at home away from home. Fatima was especially hospitable and took the initiative to see that we experienced Fes to the fullest and answered all of... More

I would go out of my way to return to Fes just to spend another day at the Palais, and I would absolutely bring my friends and family. Traveling alone as a female to Fes with little French or Arabic skills, I was a bit nervous about what I would find. The Palais de Fes went beyond my expectations in... More
