Nice riad, with a kind reception by Hussein, the hotel keeper. We had to stay in the "small room" (Tangier Room) since the other larger rooms were already booked. But even this small, simple room was nice enough, and the price was much cheaper. No complain. Breakfast was also good. The ONLY not-so-good thing was the Fez medina walking tour... more

We stayed 17 & 18 september. The location is just excellent and the riad is wonderful. On top of that a very friendly host Hussain After your visit to the hectic medina, this is a peace of heaven We had to leave quite early in the morning to catch our flight, and Hussain had already prepared an extensive breakfast We... more

My husband and I stayed at Riad Charqi for three days earlier this month. Though we had paid for the Tanger room, we were given the Essaouira suite because the riad was empty. The riad was beautiful and well-kept. Breakfasts were big and delicious. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful with getting around Fes. Highly recommended. more

First off, this riad is gorgeous. We stayed in the Marrakech suite and it was beautiful, much more so than it looks in the pictures. The staff was nice but more friendly than helpful. However my biggest issue with the place was the noise. The extensive tile is part of what makes it so beautiful but it also makes any... more

Stayed at this Riad for only two nights, next time I visit I will definetly stay longer. Hussain was a wonderful host. He arranged to have a driver pick me up at the train station and then arranged to have the same driver drop me off early in the morning. The Riad is easy to find from the Medina, easy... more

My wife an I were there from 20 to 25 April 2009 in the Marrakech suite. The courtyard of the Riad is both a garden (there are 4 orange trees) and a luxury sitting room with plenty of couches, tables made with zelleij and pottery. Everything is blue and white. It is very cosy and rich but not overdone: you... more

This place has a wonderful atmosphere, and it definitely deserves a visit. The location is great, about 200 m from the main gate to the city, but what is really striking is the interior. The riad is beautifully decorated, the furniture is very nice, and everything is very clean. In addition, the staff is really friendly and the breakfast they... more
