My family (5 in all) just returned from a trip to Morocco and Spain. From young to old we all found the Riad Dar Anebar to be the highlight of our trip. It is a gem. Immaculate, rich, authentic. Great views from the terrace. Cool in the open spaces even in August. We were put in 3 rooms (a huge... more

When we could not get into Fes' famous Palais Jamail, they referred my wife, son (19) and me to Dar Anebar, a lovely, elegant former home, down the hill and just inside the Medina for three nights. What good fortune! Both our rooms were spacious, suffused with colored daylight coming through the tinted windows and filled with enchanting Moroccan furnishings.... more

Our experience at Riad Dar Anebar was magical. Everything is beautiful and no picture can do not do the riad justice. Everyone makes each guest feel at ease and at home and will go out of their way to meet your needs. The manager Ahmed, and all the staff are extremely dedicated to the riad and its guests. We visited... more

I arrived in Fes, and was walked down narrow, plain streets at dusk, a little nervous. We walked up to a big brass door, and after knocking, were WARMLY greeted and ushered in. Immediately my jaw fell to the floor, at this exquiste, homey-feeling, beautiful, museum-looking, yet wonderfully comfy homestay---my first Riad. The warmth of the red/pink colors were so inviting... more

After a long, hot train ride from Rabat, we arrived at Dar Anebar exhausted and dirty. As soon as we opened the door to this quiet oasis, we didn't want to leave. Tiny mosaics line almost every surface and a bubbling fountain echoes off the ancient walls. Family photos tastefully display generations of the former occupants of the riad. Aziz... more

Just read all the wonderful things people say about Dar Anebar, they are all true. We just wish we had stayed longer here instead of moving on to a Riad in another part of Morocco that was not as good. Aziz and the rest of the staff make you feel like the place is your own, they can`t do enough... more

I recently stayed at Dar Anebar with my family from December 28, 2007 through January 2, 2008 in my second visit to Fes. It was absolutely perfect - the suites are very large and the rooms are reasonably sized; both are impeccably clean. The interior patio is beautiful to relax after a day in the medina, and the terrace on... more

We travel a fair amount and can say with all honesty that Dar Anebar is at the top of our list of places we have ever stayed. From the minute we walked into this Riad we were told to act as if we were in our own home; we were now considered family. Ahmed and the rest of the Anebar... more

My husband and I stayed at Dar Anebar in May 2007. Ahmed and Nadia are gracious hosts that take you into their riad and make you feel like family. The rooms are tastefully decorated in authentic Moroccan decor and open up into a beautifully designed courtyard. We enjoyed a wholesome breakfast of mint tea, Moroccan pancakes, fresh fruit and eggs.... more

We stayed here at the tail end of October at the end of our Honeymoon. It was the perfect place to finish off our trip. We had four days in a beautiful romantic room that was fantastically decorated. The room was huge and comfortable. The entire building was fantastic - especially in the evening with all the candles lit and... more
