The Dar Alhambra is perfectly located in the Marrakech Souk with easy access to Marrakech's many places of interest. The hotel itself is an amazing building with rooms on three floors surrounding a genuinely beautiful atrium with comfortably located alcoves and rooms off for dining. But even more impressive than the outstanding architecture and beautiful décor is the quite remarkable... More

V disappointing room ( see our photo). We chose to stay here for a special Easter weekend away based on all the good reviews on here and booked a suite. On our 1st night we were told we would be in a 'standard' room but would be moved the following night. We weren't but were again told on our 2nd... More

We visited last april, and were met by the hotel manager, a very friendly man. I can't remember his name anymore. He probably had made a booking mistake, which he had foreseen by preparing a room in a different riad, a minute away from dar al hambra. We were pretty gutted, because the real hotel is extremely pretty, with it's... More

The Riad Alhambra is, as others have said, a calm oasis in the medina. It was certainly interesting trying to find the riad in the medina streets; we had to resort to asking a local and paying a small fee for his trouble! The riad was beautifully decorated inside and the friends who came with us were very impressed. The streets... More

I spent a 4 day weekend in this gorgeous Riad in the middle of the souk in Marrakech and i couldnt have found a better place! Between the kindness and enthousiasm of the staff, the exquisit morrocan dishes and the facilities of the Riad, I spent 4 magical days and forgot all about work! Thank you for everything and I... My daughter and I just came back from a whole week in Marrakech and what an amazing city and what an amazing riad Dar Alhambra is! The riad is located right in the middle of the old souks. The door outside is ordinary but once you step inside, it is a piece of heaven, quiet, beautifully and traditionally decorated and... More

I am almost reluctant to give away the secret of the Riad dar Alhambra. We had an absolutely amazing stay there. The Riad is beautiful, quiet, clean and so comfortable. I've never slept so well anywhere! Hamid, Azziza and Fatina, the three staff are the heart and soul of the place, and work tirelessly to ensure each person's stay is... More

I stayed 2 night at Dar Alhambra. Well, like many people mention, the location is a bit tricky to find if you're first time in Marrakech and especially when you arrive at night when the souk is closed. Also, since the Mosque is located very close, if you're a light sleeper, you might wake up at 5am in the morning.... More

We had a hire car from the airport and followed the map as far as we could but got confused in the heavy Marrakesh traffic at night. Following a phone call to the riad, Hamid came out on a motorbike with a friend, and took us through the Medina, parking within a few yards of the Alhambra. The Riad is... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. I'm not sure how we ended up here - we'd booked in elsewhere online, and on turning up there, we were then brought to the Alhambra. This is a calm, cool, beautiful riad. Our room was simple, clean & traditionally decorated. The onsuite bathroom was great, with a big bath and seemingly neverending... More
