I thought I had to mention the sumptuous towels ...I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels around the world and for me, one of the best benchmarks of a hotel is how good the towels are...and at Villa Amira the towels are absolutely sumptuous. Soft, thick, fluffy and fresh which is no mean feat when where there are limited water... more

We stayed at Villa Amira for a four night break in June 2009. The Villa has a beautiful layout and is decorated in tasteful morrocan design. The rooms are spotlessly clean with a nice quiet aircon system and flat screen TVs. The bathrooms are spacious and the staff and owners were fantastic. We felt very well looked after ( breakfast... more

This was my first time in this beautiful city. I was there for 4 nights and I thoroughly loved this hotel. I couldn't have been happier with the room (the bathroom was spacious and extremely clean), the staff or the location. The highlights were the food which was just fantastic, the evening meal was a real treat and the breakfast... more

I have to say that we couldn't have asked for a more friendly place to stay. The charm of the decor, sublte music and the welcoming owners and their staff was excellent. It ouses character despite being a relatively new building. Time and thought has gone into making this a a little haven in a busy part of the world.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Villa Amira for five nights in late Feb, 2009. We really couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to have stayed. The villa itself is stunning - we stayed in two different rooms, the Zagora room and the Fedala room. Both were spotless upon arrival, gorgeous fixtures with a flat screen TV and air... more

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Amira and found it to be a very relaxing base to explore the otherwise hectic life in Marrakech. The room we stayed in was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, the spa experience wasn't particularly relaxing! The masseuse answered her mobile twice whilst continuing to massage with her free hand... more

We came on honeymoon to Marrakesh, it was our second time here. We wanted to get away from the hectic medina area so decided to stay at villa amira, we have never made a better decision on where to stay. the place is Moroccan elegance mixed with modern amenities . the place is immaculate with Moroccan decoration but things like... more

Stayed at Villa Amira with my girlfriend for the last 4 nights of an 11 day holiday in Marrakech and we really enjoyed our stay. The Riad has an outdoor pool which would be great if the weather was warmer than during our stay. It also has a spa with massage and steam rooms. The decor of the reception and... more

Whilst this hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from the main centre, it is well worth a stay. As you wak thought the front door, you are greeted with Morroccan opulence and the fragrant aroma of orange blossom, and welcomed with mint tea. I stayed at the hotel with two friends, and made friends with one of the maids,... more

Well... from the moment we arrived in this beautiful villa/riad to the moment we left we were treated like absolute royalty. Paola and Aurore who own the villa are so accomodating and friendly and they have designed the place to be a stunning haven (complete with its own pool) in the middle of a rather busy city! The rooms are... more
