This was a clean place & close to the square. Staff were helpful & it wasn’t overpriced. Only downfall was breakfast was not ready when we left the following morning at 8 for our tour & as we were leaving they started to bring out the food by then it was too late.

Stayed here for one night prior to a tour. It is very centrally located in the Medina within a few minutes walk from the square. It is not an upmarket accommodation and the price of the stay reflects this but it’s sufficient for a comfortable stay and I really liked the feeling of it being a traditional stay. The breakfast was really nice and plenty for a good start for the day. I would stay again.

The location is very good, you are right in the middle of everything. Also, there is heating,m which is important if there is cold outside and not all riads have it. Breakfast is ok and they clean the room every day. The staff is extremely helpful, especially Hamza, the night guard, who went above and beyond to help us. He offered to bring us dinner after our mobile phone was stolen in the market and we did not want to get out of the riad, he helped us print the return tickets, he even wrote us an email to make sure we safely arrived home. Our apartment had a very smelly bathroom, we basically could not keep the bathroom door opened (the Meknes apartment). Also, we booked a trip at the riad to go for 2 days to the desert and in the car we have found out that we paid the most from all travelers. We paid 65 euros each (4 persons) and there were people from other riads who only paid 40! We missed 2 breakfasts (1 due to the trip, one because of early flight), but even tough they saved money because of that, they asked us to pay for 2 teas that we had in the evenings. The tea is very cheap and I think it is really a pity that they cannot offer this courtesy, especially when 4 guests are not serving the breakfasts twice.

I stayed several nights in a really sweet room at the top of the building, which had an en suite bathroom. The location is really great if you want to be in the centre of the old town. As my room was right at the top and looked out over the rooftops, the call to prayer from the neighbouring mosque could be heard really quite loudly, though I did expect this, being so centrally located. The best thing about this place is the lovely staff: Sanaa, Youssa and Hamza. I was very ill during my stay and as I was travelling alone I felt quite vulnerable, so I was very grateful for being looked after well by them. They were all very thoughtful and attentive, particularly Hamza and Youssa who were on duty during my stay and kept a caring eye on me as their 'patient'. Thank you all for looking after me! :)

Used the transfer service, on arrival to riad, met Hamza, who was lovely. Very good English and very helpful during our stay. The riad its self was very clean, it truly is an oasis is a city of madness!! Its a 5 minute walk into the Centre of the square but once inside the riad, you hear nothing, as if out of the city altogether. Breakfast was nice each morning, was standard...coffee, tea, bread, fresh juice, butter, jam and a different something sweet daily. All staff were very pleasent, would stay here again.

Peaceful oasis of calm in a crazy busy city. Hard to believe it is literally five minutes walk from the main square. Very authentic Moroccan riad down a delightful small street. Can be hard to find but then that is part of the charm. No taxi can get down the streets leading up to the riad (you will understand when you get there!) Ask one of the stall holders and they will give you directions on the promise of coming back to look at their wares later. Couldn't be better placed.

Spent 4 nights at the hotel, the staff do nit speak english other than the owner so it's useful to know some french - which we didn't. The room was nice, we recieven one on the ground floor across from kitchen/dinning room. It is tricky to find the hotel so i would advise that you use the transfer service they provide. The breakfast was always nice and fresh, however the dinning room had been freezing cold every morning so we had to wear coats whilw eating. When we were asked to pay at the hotel the manager (one of the ladies) had tried to charge us higher price than what we booked for online - as we wouldn't pay more than our booking price she had to call the boss who promised to come over in 30min which actually took about hour and half - ruining our plans for the morning. Whrn he arrived he insisted that our booking must be wrong, and kept telling us that we need to pay different price than what my online confirmation showed. After much discussion (almost argument) he agreed to only charge us the booking price as we refused to accept anything else. This argument left us slightly shaken especially that we had contacted the hotel online on couple occasions before our arrival and the price had been stated online. The rest of the stay had been slightly unpleasent as we felt that the stuff has been bit off with us.

We stayed for six nights in a wonderful room off the roof terrace where we also had our breakfast. Our rooms were cleaned and tidied every day, and new towels. Lots of hot water and good WiFi in public areas. There is a lounge on the first floor with TV, and a fire which they will light if you go into it in the evening to play games or read. Breakfast was simple but good, yogurt gets top score. Location very close to central square but get a guide to show you when you get dropped off as down two lanes. You can get Riad to arrange for you to be collected from airport which would be easiest. Best part of this place is the staff. The women cooking and cleaning were lovely, friendly and really helpful. Asiz was the male helper, receptionist, he made the stay there, teaching us Arabic whilst our sons taught him computer games! He was wonderful, the epitomy of Arab charm and hospitality. Great spot, good price, lovely clean rooms

My second stay here was just as welcoming as a year ago. It is close to where it all happens in Marrakech but far enough away to be a haven of peace. The hosts are warm, friendly and helpful. I would like to have refreshments more readily available in the room.

Affordable riad right near the square. Well run by great staff who are friendly and attentive. Breakfast is also included. Rooms are clean, include air conditioning and wifi(unlike many of the places we found that made this claim but didnt actually have AC), and have tons of character. For a small price they also did our laundry for us!
