After an adventure where our reservation disappeared, the management of this riad did everything possible and impossible to find a solution. Mohamed found the solution and we were quite amazed by the result. It is worth remembering that Morocco in the year 2023 suffered a tragic earthquake, but this was not enough for people to become demotivated and not provide the best possible service. I highly recommend excursions to the Atlas Mountains organized by Kali and the kindness of Nodin in the riad itself. I am grateful to Mohamed and Emma for having found the solution to the problem"I had a great vacation When I return, I already know where to stay

We had a great stay at Zam Zam after a night in the Sahara as a magic desert camp created by the Rihad owner. We were greeted with an oasis of calm, great showers and comfy beds is just what we needed and a calm space we could all be together but have our own space. It’s in a great part of Marrakesh, about 20 minute walk to the central Medina and away from the tourists. Nice to be more where the locals live. Marcus, who part owns the Rihad, was a charming English chap who went above and beyond making sure me and my friend got safely to a taxi and onto our next destination. He drove us to a part of town where we could get one for the right price. We are so grateful!. I thoroughly recommend this Rihad.

Fantastic stay as family of 5. Tucked away down a side alley in the north of Medina, court yard is oasis of calm in a fairly crazy town. Rooms and decor beautiful, and staff very helpful including guiding you through the winding streets until you get bearings. Special shout out to Zak who went the extra mile to make our stay great. Top Tip - dine in for lunch or dinner as the chef is awesome and food better than local restaurants

We stayed 3 nights with a group and had the whole riad to ourselves. The riad is beautiful, the staff is very kind and helped us with any requests we had. The breakfasts were delicious. We ordered dinner for an evening after returning from our desert tour. We expected a small dinner, but they arranged a feast meal for us with a whole lot of amazing dishes. It was delicious. Thank you to all staff at Riad Zamzam.

This is my second time at Zamzam, we love staying here for the silence and the wonderful warm welcoming staff. We found out about Zamzam whilst attending a wedding in Marrakech, their chef and Emma were doing the catering for 200 people and it was honestly the best Moroccan food I have ever eaten. The Medina is not for everyone I suppose, it can be noisy, busy, smelly and confusing but if you love new cultures and new adventures like we do this is an incredible experience and getting lost is part of the fun. Zamzam is in the north which makes it easy for the new town and to get to the palmeraie and main routes. The north seems more quiet and more Moroccan less touristy which is also great when you have spent all day in the souks. Lastly do not leave without a hammam and massage, all part of the trip and a great pick me up before returning to the grind stone!

I stayed in the riad with my family over Christmas 2019 (as part of a 2 week trip in Morocco) and we had such a great time at ZamZam. The riad itself was a lovely, a beautiful building with intricate carving ont he wooden doors/windows. The location was great - out of the way of the main souks which mean that it was quiet, but within easy walking distance of the souks and sites outside of the Medina. The rooftop terrace was the perfect place to relax and get a bit of sun. However, the real winning elements of the stay were the people and the food. Marcus, Imane and the rest of the staff were endlessly helpful and insightful, there to advise us on where to go for dinner or talk us through the history of the riad. We stayed for dinner on our last night (after a long drive back from five days of hiking/staying at camp Adounia - all organized by Emma and Marcus), and it was one of the best meals of our whole trip; my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Would definitely recommend the Riad as part of a trip to Marrakech!

Amazing accommodation and staff, so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble - even to escorting us to a restaurant through the labrynthial Médina and returning later to bring us back to the Riad.

5 Stars. If you want a traditional Moroccan experience, there is no better place than Riad ZamZam. It’s the honest truth. Yes, you can find a riad much closer to the medina, and stay where all the tourists are, and get woken up every hour due to the noise from the souks and al-fna, but staying at ZamZam allows you to live with the locals and see how people actually live. We were able to see amazing things like how a community oven heats up bread for an entire village, what people sell outside of the famous souks, and see the true kindness of the locals as you’re walking down one of the alleys. My wife and her family (total of 7 people) stayed at ZamZam for 5 nights during Christmas break, and it was a wonderful experience. We are all foodies, so to say that the best food we’ve ever had in our life was at ZamZam is not an understatement. Surprisingly, after you read online, you’ll find great places to go and eat such as Nomad, La Moumania etc, but the dishes are very average to subpar. We were not feeling the food at all, so we decided to just eat breakfast and dinner at the riad, and these homecooked meals are something I will never forget. We ate how true Moroccans ate. If you stay at this riad, you will make a huge mistake if you do not eat at the riad every day! Trust me! The best chicken and lamb dishes I have ever had, not to mention the tasty vegetable appetizers. All those restaurants that you read online, are only good for taking pictures, not eating food. The location may seem a little edgy as you’re walking towards the riad, but after a day, you get used to it. The most that will happen to you is just getting stared at, but these people are all very friendly. Marcus, the owner, we had the pleasure meeting him on multiple occasions, great guy. My only recommendation is to make sure if you have any excursions planned, tell the company to call the riad so they can coordinate because a shuttle or taxi cannot come directly to the riad, usually they have to drop/pick you up 5 minutes away. 20 min walk to souks, 25 to fna

This Riad is amazing! Beautiful interior, with a try morrocan feel. It’s exactly what you want for a traditional theme! The staff were also amazing, we had a massage and cooking class with them and they were both great value for money. Only downfall was that the Riad seemed to be in a slightly rough area. But mostly all the Riad’s are in the same area. It’s the price you pay for the traditional experience. They did also walk us to and from the Riad to taxis etc. Overall I would definitely recommend
