We stayed at Dar Habiba for three nights in mid-December and it was amazing. The location is great; it's a short walk to the main square. Najat, the manager, is wonderful and gave us a great introduction to the city. The place is beautiful and it really was an oasis and a great place to come back to after being... more

A truly well placed and well run riad. We had 4 nights in this Marrakeshi haven, being spoiled with great food and company, not to mention the hammam and massage that was arranged by Najat! A very clean and comfortable place to sleep or sit on the rooftop terrace for a lovely breakfast. So close to the Jeema El Fna for shopping,or... more

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Najat, we knew we would have a really special time... We returned with our faith in the goodness and kindness of strangers restored! Go to Marrakech, and stay at Riad Dar Habiba. Najat will help make it a trip to remember. more

Dar Habiba means the house of my beloved and it truly felt it. It reminded me of my grandmother's home in India. I arrived as a single female, intially, and had some reservations. But, Najat welcomed me with open arms and insisted in carrying my suitcase up two stories in her heels! Shortly after settling in, we had tea on... more

We chose the Dar Habiba because of the good reviews and the helpfulness of Alastair when we emailed him with questions. We couldn't have made a better choice. The location is ideal - just a short walk from the main square. The riad has been beautifully restored and has a lovely roof-top terrace,. Najet couldn't have been more hospitable or helpful... more

This riad is just a ten minute walk from Jma el Fna, yet very peaceful. All the rooms have double beds and plenty of space, and en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast can be taken on the pretty roof garden, or downstairs in the courtyard by the fountain. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the manageress Najat is a real diamond.... more

Stayed here for two nights in December, all the other reviews are spot on. Great host (Najat gave us the best welcome we've had at a hotel), fantastic food, perfect spot and really good value for money. Really helpful pre-trip advice from Alastair too - his tips for avoiding food poisoning worked! Also, do eat at the riad if you... more

I stayed at Dar Habiba with three friends for a long weekend in December and absolutely loved every minute. Alastair made it incredibly easy to organise and plan the holiday, with very helpful and friendly emails before we arrived. When we got there, we were greeted by Najat, who answered all our questions about Marrakesh and gave us lots of... more
