Just returned from a 4 day trip to Marrakech. The Riad Alamir was just great. As posted, Stephane, the manager and his family, (Wife and kids) resulted the nicest persons. He gave us some great advices and recommendations that helped to extract the most beautiful experience from this trip. Valerie, Stephane´s wife, even gave my wife some useful advices about... more

Apologies for taking so long to write this review. The Riad Alamir was hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. That's saying a lot - I travel 26 weeks a year. I've been to some 25+ countries this year and have stayed in at least 50 hotels over the past 12 months alone. Stephane, the owner of the... more

I stayed here with my father at the end of November and we had a great time. The Riad is very typical and down a series of great, atmospheric alley ways as is typical of the Medina. The Riad itself is clean, nicely furnished and the rooms are great and typically Moroccan. Location could barely be better. A five minute... more

We stayed in Riad Alamir for three nights and really enjoyed it. The people are so nice and the room was really clean. The owner took us for a drink in the medina and he gave us a lot of tips. This is the perfect riad to stay when it's your first time in Marrakech! So go there and enjoy.... more

I would totally recomend this Riad. Stephan (the manager) and his wife Valarie are very freindly and so helpful. The Riad is clean, beautiful and very welcoming.Stephan was, from start to finish, the perfect host. He took time to show us the way to the main square. Which beleive me you need - the streets are a maze, and it... more

I'd been to Marrakech once before, and loved it. This visit, however, was even more fantastic, and that was purely because the Riad Alamir is so wonderful. We were met by Stephane, the Riad's manager, and from the start to the end of our stay he was incredible! He took so much time to talk us through places to see,... more

I's a charming little Riad - tastefully decorated but not over the top. The room we stayed in was Alamir - very spacious but cosy. Stephane was a lovely host during our stay - he suggested some lovely local cafes to eat in - really enhanced our experience of Marrakech. Best home cooked Moroccan food though was at the Riad... more

Riad Alamir, centrally located in the Medina, is decorated with traditional Moroccan furnishings and comes complete with all modern conveniences. The riad has a rooftop terrace (perfect for our lazy breakfasts and watching sunset), plunge pool, mint tea on demand, friendly staff, 24 hour reception, daily room service, free wi-fi..... the list goes on! Stephane is definately the host with... more

We stayed at Riad Alamir for 3 nights and were very impressed with the standard of decor and comfort of the rooms. The decor is typically morrocan with an excellent reception/rest area with plunge pool and roof terrace where you can have breakfast in the moroccan sun. It is well located in the old Medina and has excellent views of... more

We thought we might be riding our luck by visiting Marrakech in November because so many people said it's winter, it's the tail end of the season, standards drop off...How wrong they were. If you haven't been to Marrakech you have to prepare yourself for a real culture shock because everything seems to fly at 100mph. The people, the atmosphere... more
