Tried to book Riad Karmella but was fully booked, they suggested this new riad 150 yards away which they also own. this was more of a simple b&b, only 4 rooms, very quite, but with live in couple, who prepared breakfast, and drinks, mint tea, orange juice upon request. had breakfast on roof terrace every day, simple fruit juice, fruit, bread, jam and coffee, but you did not need anything more. have full use of Karmella, which was more of guest house/small hotel by comparison, and in fact had a meal at the Karmella which was very good, everything arranged by Karmella staff, very easy to deal with and arranged taxi to/from airport, booked restauarants and arranged trips, could not fault. we did the Ouirika valley trip, very good, do on friday to avoid crowds in Marrekesh (being the weekend). will certainly return. be aware you need some small dirhams on arrival as taxi's cannot get to either riad, they drop you in a small square where a local with small cart will take you to riad... more
