La Mamounia is unique in Marrakech, it has enormous grounds with a beautiful garden, many restaurants (the Moroccan one is fantastic, as is the old school cocktail bar). There's no doubt that La Mamounia is pretty in places, and the rooms on the whole are nice, though more than a little bit tacky with a cheap art deco look.
