The water was hot and the bed comfortable and even though it is shabby it was convenient to everything of interest and not like a lot of the tourist hotels which seem to be on the outskirts of the city. my friend and i travelled all over morocco and hotel ali was out favouite and we stayed in some higher class places,the staff are lovely the place is charming the rooms are slightly simple buthave character.the location is the best and the rooftop garden is amazing,if you get a room looking onto the medina its noisy but your in maraakech... more

ok if u r backpacking and looking for a really cheap place to saty- otherwise forget it!! rooms and bathroom dirty and smelly- near city centre and major attractions but i would rather pay little more and stay in a decent place more

Excellent accommodation for the budget conscious traveler. I stayed at the Hotel Ali for 5 nights. It is not 5 star but you are not paying 5 star prices so anyone who complains you are in the wrong hotel!
