We stayed at the Koutoubia for 4 nights in April with our 10 year old son. We booked the cheapest type of room which had a window overlooking the road outside which we found quite interesting watching all the comings and goings and we did not find it noisy. The room itself was huge with a large lounge area where... more

We just returned form Morocco a few weeks ago, and we must say we were very dissapointed in the hotel. Our rooms A/C did not work, and we had a hard time trying to get someone to fix it. We finally were moved (after 2 days!) to another room on a less sunny part of the hotel. We felt like... more

A wonderful, relaxing hotel. The staff were helpful, attentive but not intrusive. The spa is just delicious, don't wait too long to experience it, the pool alone is a secluded calming place, the Hamman is just funny! The rooftop restaurant is stunning with amazing views. The whole hotel is a wonderful escape from the hectic Medina, the brilliant location means... more

I stayed in this hotel in March 2008. I had a mini suite with a large terrasse. Excellent location for this hotel. Great SPA, 2 nice swimming pool. 5 great restaurants but only the snack is open for lunch. Don't expect anything from the staff. Very poor service. Booking excursions requires extensive efforts and discussions. Very disappointing. more

This hotel has a great location very close to the main square. The style of the hotel is a change from the large chain hotels and does feel tas if they have tried to have a Morrocan influence. We had a junior suit which was spacious and kept clean. Think more high class rustic charm rather than perfect finish and... more

The four restaurants were excellent with varied choice of menus - remember to make a reservation particularly for the Moroccan and Indian restaurants. The central courtyard is beautiful with fig and orange trees as well as many rooms to sit in for reading, playing board games and cards etc. One room has a fire which is lit every evening -... more

Finding a central hotel with good facilities in Marrakech with consistently good reviews on Trip Advisor wasn't easy, so when we arrived at Les Jardins de La Koutoubia we were absolutely delighted and relieved that our homework had paid off. The hotel is a wonderful oasis of calm, ideally situated just a couple of minutes stroll around the corner from... more

A lovely hotel admist the madness of old Marrakech and one which provides an oasis after the hustle and bustle of the city. With a variety of resturants and it's excellent spa, visitors can indulge themselves in the chaos of the souks/medina as much/little as they wish, knowing that there is the "safety net" of this retreat never too far... more

The hotel was 5/5 for location, 30 second walk from Jemma El F'na Square, and once in the hotel its peaceful and calm. We went out of season so the hotel lacked atmosphere due to it being so quiet. The staff had very poor English so we struggled with the little French we knew, thats not really a critisism just... more
