The standard of this hotel was very poor! Our room was very dull and basic, most of the plug points didn't work, there were cochroaches in the bathroom, clean towels and toliet roll were hardly ever replenished and the door didn't lock properly (someone tried to break in while we were asleep)! The breakfast consisted of stale bread and butter and... more

The hotel has seen better days, but.... is clean and comfortable and close to the city centre( a taxi ride is 20-30 dirham) The food is good, (although much better in the main city square, small place with white formica tables and benches is recommended, two people around the £5 area) if you're going to Morocco to eat Moroccan food,... more

As stated, I don't readily moan at hotel experiences but I really need to share what happened. Let me first say, the hotel staff were absolutely lovely and they all spoke English, which was a bonus as my french isn't too great. However, the buffet style food wasn't exactly what i expected -not only was it set out like food... more

Booked the hotel through Easyjet website. Despite it being outside of the main cente it is only about a 20 mins walk from the New Town and 45 mins walk from the main square. Taxis were arround 20-30 MRD The staff at the hotel were very friendly. They let us check in early. Our room had a balcony looking towards... more

In may 2007 my partner and I booked a last minute holiday to Marrakesh with Thomas cook. The holiday started off really bad. First problem was that there was no one there to collect us from the hotel after some very costly calls back to the UK we eventually got a driver to drop us at Ayoub hotel. When we... more

We booked our stay through lastminute.com in May (for our stay in August 2006) and paid about £18 per room. Each room had three single beds in, but we had four people in two rooms. We are four students aged between 20 and 22. When we arrived from the airport, we were met at reception by a very friendly man... more

It is an average hotel with average accomodations. The rooms were basic, but clean. A buffet dinner and breakfast are included in the price (I didnt know when I booked), but are very basic and repetitive. The biggest concerns involve the staff and the location. It is far from the Medina. If you want to be close to the action... more
