Just returned from 3 nights at Dar Les Cigognes. Honestly I hate to post here for fear I will never get a room again. This place is everything you could ever ask for in a boutique hotel. Beautiful, peaceful, clean (beyond clean...), with guest services that will amaze you. Christopher, the manager, will make you feel more welcome and pampered... more

Dar Les Cigognes is a beautiful oasis tucked tightly away from the crowds. The location is second to none...a less than ten minute interesting walk to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. This kitch, boutique hotel is named after the wonderful storks that made their nests upon the city's walls which you can view from your front row... more

We arranged to be collected from the airport on this our first trip to Marrakech, this enabled us to arrive in awe of our surroundings but not intimidated by them. The welcome was genuine. The staff in this hotel have been carefully chosen to make you feel totally relaxed. Our room fulfilled all expectations. The hammam was divine and a... more

This was our first trip to Marrakech, and we loved every minute of it! This was the first of two riads in which we stayed and we cannot fault it. The staff were wonderful and Christopher, the General Manger, was friendly and welcoming. We felt very looked after. The hotel was beautiful, with enormous attention to detail. The rooms were... more

We just returned from one of the most magical places we have ever experienced, Dar Les Cigognes. To call Les Cigognes a luxury retreat would be a disservice, as it is an experience. In all my travels, service like this I have never seen. The entire staff, from General Manager to resident masseuse to service to chef to chauffer take... more

My best friend and I had a precious weekend away from our busy lives of work and 7 young children between us - it had to be perfect! It was. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the food and mint tea delicious, the room was lovely especially the log fire and huge bath, the hotel quaint and serene, fantastic... more

What a lovely place to spend a few days. This was our first time in Morocco and this riad is beautiful, although not as central as some others it is still only a 10 minute walk to the main square. This is a lovely villa with a central courtyard which has a fountain with rose petals floating in it; it... more

Once you have found this delightful place (take a taxi) you will want for nothing. Whether it's an arrival dinner served to you alone in any one of the intimate rooms off the central attrium, or breakfast on the roof gardens of in-house prepared pastries and preserves accompanied by the ubiquitous and unbeatable Moroccan orange juice, this is the place... more

My first impression of this place was wonderful. You enter by a tiny door, almost chisseled into the city walls, and feel like you have stumbled upon a big unlikely secret. Inside, its a different story. Its a large and beautiful villa with fully open atrium and palms growing in the centre of the courtyard. You are welcomed with a... more

Following this guests comments, we followed up with both the staff and the guest to better understand what happened. We are grateful, however, that despite some of the lapses on our part, on balance this guest felt good enough about his stay to write an otherwise very positive review. Though the front office staff is trained to handle wake up...

Dar Les Cigognes is a perfect haven in the middle of the bustle, sights and smells of the Medina. Hidden away, but right slap bang in the middle of the old town, we found it perfect for exploring Marrakech and seeing everything it has to offer while still having a calm, stunning place to retreat to. We stayed for four... more
