We just came back from Dar Atta and we loved it !!! We are a family of 5 and we booked the two suites at the top and was just like being at home. Service was excellent, breakfast outstanding, rooms beatifully furnished, plenty of hot water and air conditioning. Personnel satisfied all our needs (taxis to and from airport, booking... more

Very nice hotel. Close to the center, helpful staff, ok breakfast, very quiet and nice contrast to a day in marrakech. I would definetely recommend. Prices seem to vary from website to website - it's worth checking several sites. more

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great position but beware of overcharging! Dar Atta is just 5 minutes away from Jemaa El Fna square, the caleches and the souks. Taxis run up and down the street accessed by the back door of the hotel and are freely available in the square. The staff were very obliging when it came to ordering a... more

I stayed at Dar Atta over the New Year with my partner and a friend. We had booked a "superior" and a "standard" room. There was lots of contact prior to arrival via email and the hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport. French and Italian seem to be the main languages spoken at the... more

Ate there couple of nights since too tired to go out and food was good. Did get sick towards end of trip and staff were... more

We were 3 British girls venturing into Marrakech for a week and Dar Atta suited our needs very well. It is an inexpensive traditional riad which is very convenient for everything in the Medina. The staff were very friendly and helpful and organised restaurant bookings, trips and taxis for us. You needed to know a little bit of French to... more

I have stayed in marrakech twice previously and always in Riads and I have to say that you get what you pay for. Dar Atta is not great, it's budget priced and the rooms are basic with no luxurious flourishes that I've experienced in other riads. Do also be aware of the irritating sales technique of the hotel staff. The... more

We stayed at Dar Atta for one night in August 2006. From the outside the place looks a dump! There was a large pile of stones outside for some road repair work - never a good sign. Once through the doorway you are into a quite, peaceful world, a complete contrast to outside. The place is nicely fitted out and... more

Overall, Dar Atta is a convenient place to stay. Its location was perfect. It’s accessible by car, so if you have a lot of bags, like we did, it’s perfect! If you want a lap of luxury, then this may not be posh enough for you. Also, it’s not located down a cool winding alley like lots of other riads.... more
