Just come back home from staying in Riad Abbassia and had to immediately write a comment about this place. It's beautiful, very clean, best breakfast, best roof terrace in Marrakesh! Highly recommend it to friends and family. liked it so much went back for a 2nd stay at the end of our trip. Mustafa is an excellent host, such a... More

Mostapha and Latifa were incredibly helpful and did everything to make us welcome and comfortable. The Riad itself is absolutely beautiful. Although it is a bit of a distance, it is perfectly possible to walk to the main square - we did it every day (sometimes twice a day) with two children and had great fun taking in all the... More

Directed in a quiet area not to close to the center but it's a nice walk to know the Medina. Latifa and Mustafa are wonderfull hosts and the home made cooking of Latifa is worth a stay. Great view on the city and the Atlas mountains from the roof-terrace. The maintenance however is poor. I have the feeling that the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Riad in the sweltering heat of July 2009. The mercury touched 45 degrees and with no air conditioning in our bedrooms and only an old, dusty and incredibly noisy fan offered by the Riad staff, our two nights at this place constituted some of the most hallucinogenic and fitful sleep we've ever had.... After a bit of a rocky start getting to the riad Mustafa and his sister were fantastic and went out of their way to help us get the best out of our stay. We stayed for two days and were upgraded to a bigger room for both. Mustafa drew us maps (which were brilliant) on both days, firstly to get... More

We stayed here for one night on 30 November. Mustapha who runs the Riad was excellent and really the saving garace of the place. The owner needs to realise, and appreciate, that without Mustapaha we would have been very disgruntled guests. We stayed in the Amber Suite -not exactly a suite, just one room with a sitting area to one... More

I stayed at the Riad Abbassia for a few nights with my boyfriend and we had a great time, it's a great base for exploring the medina and older areas of Marrakech whilst providing a tranquil escape from the noise and bustle of such a lively city. I'm going to review mainly the Riad but also metion a few bits... More

Absolutely fantastic Riad. Made our stay in Marrakesh perfect. The people who worked there were so helpful, we had a few issues (ie one of us leaving a passport in the south of Morocco) and the owner truely went out of his way to help us. The room was fantastic and the food even better. I would definately recommend eating... More

Although Riad Abbassia is far North in the Medina, everything else makes it a great choice. The Riad itself is charming, quiet, relaxing and clean. Mustapha is a very helpful & easy-going host & without him our Marrakech experience would not have been nearly as good. Latifa, cooks great homemade Moroccan food & was by far the best meal on... I really disagree with the negative review below. The riad was fantastic, and whilst it is reasonably far North in the Medina - the peace and tranquility of the location was a very welcome contrast to the chaos and buzz of the souks. The riad and terraces were larger than expected and rooms were clean, comfortable with incredible baths. Our... More
