We decided to go to Morocco to relax, unwind, and break away from our daily New York City routine. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed at the beauty, serenity, and warmth of the place. It is an oasis in the middle of the old Medina. We had planned our trip hoping that we would be able to experience... more

Stayed here for 4 nights and can echo many of the comments already posted. The decor is beautiful but like too mant boutique hotels the sacrfice is silly things like low wattage lighting and mad beds on the floor. Upside: really close to Jemma el Fna, beautiful terrace for sun bathing and meals, very friendly staff, an oasis in a... more

My wife and I stayed for 5 days in Marrakech, in another Riad in the Medina, supposedly the best in town (that's what we thought at 350 euros per night). The manager of our Riad arranged one day for a full Hammam, Gommage Massage and diner at the Riad Lotus Ambre. The Result... we felt in love with this Riad:... more

OK, so the reviews are quite mixed, so I will try to be fair to both sides. Staying in a riad in the medina is a real treat if that is what you want. The Ambre is less than a 5 minute walk to the main market square, close to all the souks and not too difficult to find after... more

We stayed at this hotel in September and it is quite a little gem in the at times very rough Marrakech! Just to warn you! we thought we booked with Royal Air Maroc but when our tickets arrived, in brackets it said operated on Atlas Blue flights. Atlas blue were awful! i have never been on a worse flight. We... more

After reading the reviews on this website we departed for marrakech with mixed feelings about our choice of accomodation. However, as soon as we stepped foot into the riad we knew that we had made the perfect choice... it truly was the most magical, memorable trip we have ever made and this would not have been possible without the kindness... more

Marrakech is a city you either love or hate. Having stayed at Riad Ambre for my first visit in Marrkach I fell in love with the place. The owners Reda and Badra, who own three hotels in the city, Ambre, Perle and Privilege and one in Essaouira called O'Marine work tirelessley along with their staff to create a homely cosy... more

walking down the dustry street, i was so surprised to find such a beautiful hotel. It is clear that so much care has been put into the design; it's so elegant, yet homely and inviting. The staff are very attentive and the views from the terrace breathtaking. I can't wait to get back. more

Marrakech is a bustling city which is part of its charm. After a hectic day exploring the sights and smells of the city and soukhs, it is nice to stay in somewhere relaxing and special; The Riad Lotus Ambre is just the place. You are made to feel exceptionally welcome by the friendly and attentive staff, who look after you... more
