Me and my wife have just come back from Marrakech, celebrating our second anniversary, and we can not speak highly enough of the Dar Silsila, Jean Patrick and his team. The Dar Silsila is beautiful and a real sanctuary from the busy Medina. It is also amazingly well located as it is a 5 minute walk from the Koutobia Mousue... more

Following Jean Patrick's advice to book the transfer from the airport at a very convenient price of 15 €, and after walking a few yards behind our driver through a (very) dark (but short) tunnel, we arrived to a silent -except for the fountain murmur- patio with low lights and a table exquisitely decorated awaiting us. We had a very... more

We have just come back from Dar Silsila, in Marrakech. This is a truly stylish riad which is an oasis of calm after all the hustle and bustle of the souks and streets of Marrakech. Jean-Patrik and his staff could not do enough for us and made the whole trip easy by giving us good advice as to where to... more

We have just returned from our first visit to Marrakech and stayed in the Dar Silsila Riad which was a fabulous experience. It is in an excellent location, down one of the narrow alleyways in the Medina, centre of old town area, and is a wonderful peaceful hidden gem, very quiet, with two attractive patio areas inside. It also has... more

Dar Silsila and its wonderful proprietor, Jean Patrick, made my stay in Marrakech a joy. What a beautiful place to come "home" to every night and wake up to every morning. I stayed at this sumptuous riad for a total of a week, consisting of a few days at the start of my trip and a couple of nights at... more

Even though it has all been said, our stay in Dar Silsila was perfect. Even when there was a problem, which is not even worth mentioning Jean Patrick went all out to solve things, making you feel like it was never a problem. We stayed here twice first on the roof top suite and later on a regular room, the... more

We stayed for 4 nights in June and had a fantastic time. The Riad is beautiful, maintained to a high standard and the staff couldn't have been more pleasent or accomodating. Don't be put off by the walk to the Riad (we were a bit worried about where we were headed) - once you get through the doors you will... more

Jean patrick and his staff were outstanding in every way. The staff were always warm and friendly and efficient, happy in their jobs and always looking to meet our needs. We were keen to learn how to cook chicken tagine. Our chef instructed us, allowed us to watch the preparation and explained the ingredients which we ate later at dinner.... more

We had an excellent stay at this Riad. From beginning to end, everything went as planned. Jean Patrick made every effort to help us make the most out of our visit and his staff were exceptionally warn, welcoming and professional (trilingual!) The Riad is beautifully decorated and a real oasis of calm in the Medina. Its location is ideal -... more
