We should start by saying that we had this riad at half price and would be upset had we spent the listed fare. It's really just an average place, nothing special. The staff resembles Morocco at it's best - trying to sell you day trips and charging more than necessary for afternoon tea. As another guest humerously illustrated, there are... more

What a peaceful place with warm and welcoming hosts. Each room has a different color range and the name of an exotic perfume like Jasmin or Patchouli or Musk, etc. The craftmanship is visible in every corner. I can highly recommend this little jewel, just a few minutes walk from the lively Djema El Fna. This is already my third... more

The riad is friendly, authentic, clean, safe, and in the heart of Marrakesh's old town. I have no hesitation in recommending this riad to anyone looking for a great base in Marrakesh. more

I stayed at Riad Zinoun for 9 days in the course of a 3 week trip to Morocco, and it was the best Riad I stayed in. I care a lot about the beauty of my surroundings, and I found the rooms, in reality, matched the wonderful photos on their websites, and were more tasteful than the often "overdone" Moroccan... more

Excellence, professionalism, courtesy and kindness describes the experience of all 8 of us who stayed in Riad Zinoun for a total of 9 days. Everyone said it was the trip of their entire lifetime. All the rooms were finished in Tadelakt and hand laid tile. Beds were comfortable with enough cover and great pillows. Rooms were cleaned everyday and included... more

Ahhhh… Marrakech….As my good friend Forest Gump once said…"Life is like a box of chocolate… you never know what's inside until you take a bite." Now the way I see it… Marrakech as a city is like a big box of chocolate - each brown building being a piece of candy.… It's only when you get inside these structures that... more

Well, what can I say other than I wouldn't recommend this Riad to even my worst enemy! Lets start with our room (Patchouli): Mouldy walls & severe damp (see attached pictures). Dirty - old, dried mud remained on numerous areas of the floor & a dead cockroach in the bathroom was not swept-up for 3 days. Both of these would... more

What can I say, except don't do it! On the positive side, the staff were friendly. Jouad in particular spoke very good English and was very polite and accommodating. It also enjoyed a good location close to the square. The negatives were that the place was drab, not particularly clean, freezing cold and a bit depressing! The breakfasts were adequate... more

Riad Zinoun is a fantastic place only minutes away from the Place Jemaa El Fna and the famous Marrakech souks. The Riad is very comfortable, all guestrooms are nicely decorated and the bathrooms and bedrooms are very clean. Breakfast is great and is served in the center patio. The owners Said and Michele extend a very warm welcoming to their guests.... more
