We spent several nights at Riad Safa during our visit to Morocco and had a truly excellent experience. The location is wonderful, although a bit hard to find, and the owners and staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms are full of charm and character, and the food we were served was amazing. All around an excellent place to... More

There's not really anything I could critique about Riad Safa. It's an ideal location inside the medina. It's a great value (both in absolute terms and relative to other places I stayed in Morocco). The people working there are exceedingly warm, vibrant and helpful. The riad itself is a beautiful space and my room was in keeping with that. The... More

Finding your way into the medina and locating your riad on your first night is always an exhilarating experience. Riad Safa provides a perfect oasis of tranquility in the northern part of the Medina, only minutes away from the busy streets and souks. We were staying for ten days in this fantastic city, and the staff were wonderful the whole... More

This is a long overdue review. We stayed in the Sumatra room, which was really lovely and authentic. The whole riad is beautifully done up and the type of place you start imagining which room would be what if you lived there. There is a great rooftop terrace and a nice little plunge pool which is nice to sit in... More

For our first trip to Marrakech, we decided to stay at Riad Safa because of all the positive reviews on here. We weren't disappointed! Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a more expensive room free of charge thanks to a last minute cancellation, we were even shown the room we had originally booked so that we could choose between... Riad Safa was the highlight of our recent 7 week travels around the Mediterranean rim. Our visit started by talking with Saeed by telephone who was able to give us accurate advice and directions to get from the train station to the medina and he was there to meet us at the enterance, which made our first experience of the... I have just arrived home from another perfect stay at Riad Safa. It has been two years since our last stay and it is still as lovely as we remembered it. The warm welcome and care & attention Jean-Michel and Frederic offer to their guests makes your holiday in Marrakech so stress free and enjoyable. The new night manager Saeed... More

We were greeted by the lovely Jean-Michel and Frederik at their beautiful Riad in the North east of the Medina. We had arrived early and Jean-Michel came to the aid of my mother, sister and I as we turned up in the nearest drop off point, a crazy area called Place el Moquef, a slightly more residential part of town...
