Our stay at Riad and Villas Fawakay was wondeful. The staff looked after us beaytifully, the meals were perfect, and nothing was too much trouble. The Riad itself is wonderfully decorated and felt like our own home-from-home during our stay. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. more

Wonderful riad in the heart of the Medina. Went for a girlie break away for 4 nights and found it remarkably relaxing considering you are surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Typical day was spend sunbathing on the terrace after one of Rashida's wonderful breakfasts and then cooling off in the plunge pool which was a god... more

We have recently returned from a two centre trip which included 3 days at the riad and a further 3 days at the complex on the outskirts of Marrakesh-the first trippers to do so! The riad is an absolute delight, like something out of the Arabian Nights situated in the Medina which is so interesting and buzzing! We were then... more

This lovely and peaceful riad provides a welcome respite from the hectic streets of the medina, and is a perfect place for a family visit to Marrakech. Beautifully decorated and complete with 3 bedrooms/bathrooms, a roof terrace and a plunge pool, it’s a great value for families who like the idea of having a whole house to themselves, but still... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at this beautiful Riad which was situated perfectly in the heart of the medina just a short stroll from the markets but tucked away from the hussle and bussle of it all. It was great place to be able to relax and chill after a day out and the roof top terrace was ideal for... more

Wonderful. Your own private luxury raid complete with staff. Francis and co have done a great job of making this into a truly beautiful and enchanting respite from the frantic medina. Rachida cooked up the best dinner of our whole trip, so make sure you book at least one night dining in. She sat in front of the table on... more

We have just come back from our second trip to marrakech staying at the Riad Fawakay after having had such a great trip last time. If anything, this trip and our stay at the riad was even better than the first time. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff there and made us feel very special indeed. I loved... more

we stayed in this fabulous Riad with another couple and a baby in june 08 and thought it was wonderful. really great location - a moment away from the hustle and bustle but really calm and private. the riad itself was outstanding - beautifully decorated, spacious with lots of extras we didnt expect (library, well stocked DVDs, music etc) and... more

As 2 couples from the USA with young children who were interested to experience Morocco, Riad Fawakay turned out to suit our needs perfectly. Marrakesh is an incredibly vibrant and exciting city to visit, and like many Medina style cities, the buzz and chaos is part of the charm. However, with young children, this only works for so long and... more
