We found this place by chance, taxi to the bottom of the street and just wandered. Nice size room, our's was a room for four (which would have been tight) on the third floor. Cool courtyard, nice sunny roof terrace where they serve breakfast. Fantastic location, within three minutes walk of the main square Jaama-el-Fna. We paid 380 Dirham for... more

We arrived late at night (1:00am after a long flight!) and found the Riad easily, welcomed with a friendly smile by the English speaking reception attendant. Our room, on the ground level, was spacious, clean and, while basic, had lots of character! The bathroom, while small had beautiful Moroccan tiling and gorgeous sink. The breakfast, included in the price, was... more

We spent three nights at Riad Hotel Assia. The proximity to Djemaa El Fna made it a good choice. We stayed in a quadruple room, that although not large made good use of its space, offering a curtain as a way to divide the room into two. I, however, felt that the room, and particularly the bathroom, was a little... more

We liked to stay in hotel "Assia". It is a low budget hotel, but nicely decorated and also well situated. It was quiet, but on the other side only a few steps from Djemaa-El-Fna. We could easily find it ourselfs, because it is very near to Hotel Tazi. You don't need a guide to find it, even if you are... more

We (party of 4 adults) stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Assia in March 2008 and found it good value. +The location is excellent, less than 200m from the main square. +Great breakfast of fresh orange juice, pastries, bread / jam, pancakes, coffee / hot chocolate / mint tea on the roof terrace. +Friendly staff. +Attractive decor. +Value for money... more

We had a very nice time in Riad Assia Marrakech. We stayed in a quadruple room, which was not crammed at all, just what you want - decor with a nice Moroccan touch, extra blankets, clean towels, working TV, hot shower and good clean beds. The receptionist was always very helpful, our room/beds were made everyday, nothing got missing and... more

I was worried that this hotel would not be very nice, since I had paid the same amount for a fairly run-down hotel in Asilah and more for a generic hotel in Fes. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised, because the hotel was quite nice. Clean and quiet, and 250 dirhams for a single was outstanding value for Marrakech... more

I had a single room (with two beds) in the Hotel Assia. A friend from Casa was coming to Marrakech on Sathurday and I asked the reception staff if he can stay in my room and I would pay double-room rate for that day. They said it is fine. However, when he arrived they said he cannot stay because it... more

Me and my wife stayed there in March 2006. It was a good hotel. Of course it wasn't a 5-star one but we weren't expecting it for that price. The room was o.k. but a little humid. The staff was very nice (I had baggage problems with Iberia and they helped me to contact the airport, plus they turned off... more
