Unfortunately read reviews after booking this place. Should have known what to expect when man on desk was more interested in watching the t.v. than checking us in. Booked for 10 nights but walked out after 5. Aircon did not work. Fridge in room did not work. Hot water was sporadic. There were sticky rings and old dried food residue... more

we didnt get a choice with this hotel as it was the starting and ending hotel for a trip we booked to trek up Mount Toubkal. The first time we stayed was fine, a bit off the beaten track, but 25-35 dirhams for a taxi down to the medina (which can easily be hailed on the street) or a 30... more

Plus points - clean modern hotel reasonable value for money. Close to ACIMA supermarket for essentials. (within walking distance) Staff very friendly and welcoming. Negatives - NOISY DISCO PLAYS UNTIL THE EARLY HOURS, TAKE YOUR EAR PLUGS! A little off the beaten track, it is at the top end of Rue Mansour Eddahbi. Bit of a trek to the Djemma.... more

Meh. Our contact initially suggested this hotel but then booked us elsewhere. I read up on HIcham and the alternative on trip advisor and asked to be put back in Hicham (well, not really, but I asked why the change and mentioned the bad reviews of the other hotel and asked her opinion on which was better and the contact... more

Unfortunately the only positive thing I can say is that the rooms are clean. It is a noisy hotel (hotel bar/club is playing loudspeaker music till 3am), there was no hot water and the sliding doors of the balcony did not close properly. No possibility of switching off the bathroom lights separately and there are no extra blankets (so make... more

The hotel "Hicham" was really the worst hotel we had during our trip to Morocco. It was extremely loud... I really couldn't sleep well. We had a room in the 4th floor, the music came from the ground floor, there was some kind of disco every night. Just horrible, if you are tired from the day... Also the location was... more

Excellent value for money. Rooms very clean and comfortable, fresh towels daily and crisp clean bed linen. Breakfast adequate but basic. Only downside was extremely loud music every night until midnight. The Club was really for local people rather than tourists. Good situation only 25 minutes walk from the square and Marjorelle gardens. Recommend open top bus tour as early... more

this is a decent hotel cornered off from the hustle and bustle but still close to local amenities. It's a 3 star with comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. We had booked a double room but were given 2 singles as no doubles were available. The next day we were shown 3 different rooms to choose from with a double bed.... more

This hotel has lovely, friendly staff. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, but was offered a twin with an extra bed. When we complained, we were offered 2 twins with balconies-it was worth asking and being persistant withour request. The entire hotel needs a make-over. The pool was lovely for the kids, but they must be... more

Recently stayed at this hotel, and although the location was good(right outside bus stop and supermarket), it's definitely not one that we would return to. There are plenty of hotels to choose from in and around the same area, so there is in fact plenty of choice once you get there. The room was overlooking a balcony with pidgeon droppings.... more
