Riad Akka is a refuge from the buzz and bustle of Marrakech. After a day of sightseeing, it was lovely to go back through the big door into the serenity and beauty of this modern incarnation of a traditional Arab house. The decoration is stunning, from the white plaster walls and red/black accents to the Arabic calligraphy around the balconies... More

I traveled with two others and stayed 3 nites at Riad Akka, and we couldnt be happier about our decision. Only a 5 minute walk to the medina/square. Finding any Riad through all the turns can be challenging, but Aziz at Riad Akka arranged a taxi to pick us up from the train station, which drove us close as he... More

Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms (they all have a great touch: the owner , Aurelie, was kind enough to show us all the rooms so we had the privilege to pick our fav' room with a huge bath tub), the best location because very central but also very quite (next to the Bahia Palace). They have a wonderful terrace where you... More

Great place to stay, glad the taxi drive showed us where it was, but once we found our bearing the location was really handy, and away from the noisey streets. More

We stayed at Riad Akka for 3 nights in September. After negotiating the alleyways leading up to the Riad, we were warmly welcomed by the manager into this lovely Riad. The Riad has been tastefully refurbed in a contemporary style. Our room was comfortable, clean, stylish and thankfully air conditioned! I think what particularly made our stay here so positive... The place is charming: beautiful rooms; relaxiing haman and amazing roof top garden. Breakfast was delicious. The manager, Abdel, is so helpful. He walked with us to the taxi stand and helped us buy a large lantern. He really made our stay so much easier! More

We arrived at Riad Akka in Marrakesh early in the morning after travelling on the overnight train from Tangier. Although we were much earlier than the stated check in time the staff there made us very welcome and served us a gorgeous breakfast which became one of the things we most looked forward to at Riad Akka. Its fair to... More

We stayed at Riad Akka on your last night in Marrakech and we chose it because of the great reviews here and as a splurge for our last night in Morocco. The Riad was hard to find (but then again, anything is hard to find in Marrakech) - I would have expected some signs for a Riad of this quality,... More

My husband and I stayed at Riad Akka for a few nights at the end of a short tour of Morocco. It was difficult to fault and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. The decor is modern Marrakech - no fussy local rugs or brassware scattered about the place. The plunge pool is the perfect antidote... More
