A Riad is a kind of bead and breakfast the rooms of which are situated around an inner courtyard. In Marrakech they nearly all are situated in and around the Medina, which is the inner city centre. This is also applicable for Riad dar Tamlil. This Riad has two rooms on the ground floor and three on the first floor.... more

My Wife and I stayed here with our 7 year old Daughter and also a friend with her teenage Daughter. Overall we ouind this place hard to fault. Vary clean, great location, calmness amid the mayhem of the main square in the Medina. The rooms were more than adequate, although the Bathroom does not offer much privacy from your room-mate.... more

A delightful little riad in an interesting part of the old city. Elegantly decorated with both courtyard and roof garden/sunbaking area. The photos don't do it justice. Small and intimate ambiance with courteous, helpful staff- they even shared their lunch (grilled sardines!) with me one day and also helped me with arranging tours. The rooms are interesting decorated comfortable and... more

Its nice place will all basic amenities. Staff is not that friendly but I would recommend this place if you care about jama-el-fanah and would like to put your self in to totally different cultures. more

Great location, very quiet, good breakfast, very nice garden and lovely roof-deck. Not very clean though, so if you want white bed sheets and clean towels go somewhere else. Also doesn’t feel safe as there are no safes in the rooms. more

My brother and I stayed here for 4 nights in early June. There are 4 rooms in total - we stayed in the twin room on the first floor. The place is immaculate with very helpful staff. Staff only speak French - so very useful if you know some. If not, you will get bye. Great value - about 100... more

We stayed for a week at the end of April 2009. The Riad is lovely - small with only 4 guest bedrooms and the one we had was typical Moroccon style with tiled walls and shutters on the windows. There was a roof terrace with an enclosed area that you could spend the afternoon in easily after a hard morning's... more

We stayed at the Dar Tamlil for two nights, in different suites, and room 2 was worlds better than room 1. Room 2 had a bathtub, high ceilings and a beautiful bed-- for 42 euro. Room 1 had a shower fixture attached to the bathroom wall next to the toilet, lower ceilings and a normal bed-- for 37 euro. For... more

Very nice, quiet and comfortable Riad, near to the big square and souks. Very good value for money. Clean and welcoming room which is beautifully decorated in a Morroccan style. Breakfast served on a lovely rooftop terrace that is ample and convenient. Friendly and helpful staff that do their best to make you feel like home or even better than... more
