Hi i am Vivian,I reside in Arusha town,I regular travel to Dar es salaam for trainings concerning my work and it's my first time i came across Al uruba Hotel by searching though Google and taking the previous reviewers advise.I just called Al uruba over the phone and obtained a confirmation for a room.On arrival at the hotel,my room was waiting for me ,i could say its a very good hotel,friendly staff although the entrance to the hotel is in an awkward position other then that hotel is clean,rooms was clean,all linens(that includes towel's/bedsheets and blankets) clean.There is a Tv/Mini freezer,Air conditioner and a fan ,room and washroom abit big but well kept.The room rate TSH 15,000 eqv USD 11 self contained a good value for your money.These is small restaurent on the first floor of this hotel reasonably priced,although this hotel is based in Kariokoo/kunguni street which is very noisy street and you have to be on a look out while walking on these street for any pickpocketers... more
