as a "regular" since 6 1/2 years I like to comment as well. Q is a "multi purpose" place: bar, restaurant, sportsbar, disco, guest house and more. Music can be really loud but stops latest at 3am. Only twice a week is live music. however the MAISHA Club behind Q is often noisy until 5am or even 6am. Never heard... more

We stayed at QBar for nine nights, and I have very mixed feelings about it. Lets start with the positive. The rooms were very basic, but very clean and the aircons worked well. The cleaning staff and the breakfast ladies were just terrific. And cudos to the breakfast chefs - the best fried eggs I've had in a long time.... more

I stayed at Q bar & guesthouse for two nights, and I had a wonderful time! With a friend of mine I stayed at the backpackers room, which was quite cheap. The room and beds were clean and the room looked better than many rooms I had seen untill then in Tanzania. The only thing missing were the mosquito nets.... more

Don't be fooled by the "family run" element of the advertising..this place is essentially a gigantic sports bar, which come evening hours is overrun with prostitutes.
