We had a lovely stay in February at the end of a weeks cycling. The setting is stunning and we were able to admire views of Kili from our balcony, awesome! The room was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a large bathroom and plenty of hot water! The food and drink was great and always served with efficiency and... More

First of all you should remember TIA, this is Africa, so everything is in that context. The electricity is off several times a day as a minimum, but the location is superb, the staff are amazing and the service is so friendly. The menu isn't great but everything is well presented and served with a massive smile. Make sure you... More

I stayed in February with a group of friends at the end of a cycling trip arranged by Ahsante tours, and it was absolutely fantastic! Sitting in the shadow of Kili , the Lodge gave us spectacular views of the mountain from our balcony. This friendly, well run hotel provided the perfect end to our stay in Africa. The room... More

We weren't climbing kili but i wanted a place to stay on arrival at kili airport within an hours travel (as we were arriving late afternoon and only staying one night so this ruled out the mount Kilimanjaro view hotel which is a rough 90 minutes away) that would offer the best chance of kili views before we started our... We stayed here two nights (Dec 25/26) before our climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro and again one night in Jan after we returned. It was perfect for what we wanted. Plus, since it's owned by Ahsante (the tour company we used for our climb) we got free rides into Moshi town, which is about 15 minutes or so away from the... More

What a fabulous location especially when you are about to climb Kilimanjaro. One of the main vistas from several aspects of the hotel is the mountain itself which allows you to get acquainted with the Tasman ahead. But equally when you return some days later Cuthbertson and his team are there to say we done with an hibiscus cocktail. And... More

Just outside Moshi town this is a slightly upscale newly built backpackers lodge. Good for a few days before and after Kili which is what its meant for so don't plan a long stay. Its ownded by Ahsante tours so if you book Kili with them they will put you here for a slightly reduced rate ($90/night single $110 double... More

We had a wonderfully relaxing Christmas Day staying at this hotel. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with air conditioning and a separate bathroom - it all feels very brand new. They are well designed and spacious - very welcome after a long transit, a mountain climb or rough safari roads. The lodge is very child friendly - our 2 year... More

Rooms are confortable, clean and with western standards. The surroundings are also nice with swimming pool, open common area with bar to relax and very nice service and staff. Security is also high in the lodge. Location is about 10-15 minutes from Moshi on a secondary road next to the main road. It was a transit hotel included in my... More
