This hotel manages to do all the hard things well but falls down on a simple one. It is located in a truly spectacular area and it is nothing less than thrilling to sleep here under the tents and surrounded by the sounds of the wild animals nearby. The rooms are large and comfortable (although a curtain to close off... more

Having just returned I find it absolutely necessary to report the following: After a long drive our arrival into camp we were greeted with Jambo/Briefing/Cold Drinks and escorted to our accommodation. Yes, they were TENTS however nothing you can imagine until you step foot inside-A MUST SEE! Staffed to the hilt and overseen by knowledgeable/personable and highly capable management team... more

Migration Camp is about a 3 hour trip from Central Serengeti but well worth the drive. The location is pretty remote. We didn't see too many safari vehicles on the road & there weren't too many people at the camp either, about 12-15. The tents are large and beautifully decorated, with great views of the woods. We did hear the... more

An exciting arrival when your safari vehicle parks on the kopjes and then cross the bridge and enter the luxury world of Migration Camp. You are cheerily met with the wet washer and chilled juice on check-in which is eagerly accepted after game-drives. Porters deliver luggage to the room, which can be a decent walk from the dining and pool... more

Everything about Migration Camp was out of this world. We had arrived by bush plane and were met by a guide who was waiting for us at the airstrip with a picnic, cold drinks, including wine and cold beer. He inquired what we had seen thus far and what we were expecting from this part of our 6-day safari. Since... more

The service at Migration camp was out of this world. Although it is a luxury camp, the wild, raw nature of the african bush remains untouched. The rooms were amazing and food extrodinary. I never drank better coffee and the staff were so kind and friendly; we never had better service and my spouse and I are avid travelers. Dining... more

We stayed here in October 2006 with my parents and came back in November 2008 with friends. Staff is very friendly and professional without being too present, food is superb considering the fact that you are really, really in the middle of nowhere and the tents are breath-taking. Drinks, snacks and laundry are included, which is very convenient. The only... more

We have just returned from a wonderful African adventure, our final 3 days being spent in the migration camp. A whole new meaning to camping! This luxury tented camp far surpassed our expectations, the food was wonderful, fantastic position with wonderful views. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The Hippos that came out from the river at night to... more
